Do you still eat Hamburger Helper with "fake" meat?!
I used to love hamberger helper! Now, that I'm vegetarian, I was going to use morning star meat crumbles and make it that way!? Still vegetarian!? Any other recipes you used to like as a meat eater and make a vegetarian way!? Thankyou!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, it actually does work!. My little sister is a vegetarian so we have to switch around recipes a lot, we even did tofu tacos once, and it wasn't half badWww@FoodAQ@Com
I don't eat any meat, not even fake!. Real meat is repugnant to me, and I don't miss it at all, so I don't want fake meat (usually made with soy) either!. To me, people who still eat fake meat really miss eating meat and they might at some point just go back to eating it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think it tastes very similar to the meat hamburger helper!. I don't care for fake beef though (I hated regular beef) so I just make it without anything except the noodles and sauce!. It's still yummy! Especially with biscuits! One great way to utilize new recipes- try www!.fatfree!.com They have all different types of food recipes!. Good luck, and enjoy being veggie! =)Www@FoodAQ@Com
i use stuff like those veggie-'meat' crumbles to make anything that i'd use hamburger for!. like stuffed bell peppers, lasagna, strogonoff!.!.!. pretty much anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I've made it with extra firm tofu, just press the water out of it and chop it up into little chunks!. Morning star meat crumbles should work good too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No!. Hamburger Helper is junk food!. Most of them have chicken or beef fat in them anyway!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
