What did you do with your wool, leather, and other animal products after becoming vegan?!
Did you just throw them out!? Or did you just stop buying new ones and still wear the old stuff!?
I got rid of my leather belt, but i still have some wool sweaters, I haven't been wearing them but i don't really know what to do with them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

After I became vegan, I stopped buying leather, wool and animal tested cosmetics!. I continued to use animal cosmetics until I ran out of was using, then I replaced them with cosmetics that weren't tested on animals!.
As for wool and leather clothing I donated them to a charity!. I also sold a few leather belts at a garage sell my parents were having in our front yard!.
Good luck! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have never really been a fan of leather or wool!. I always thought wool was itchy and I bought the pleather because it was cheaper!.
If I did have any of it though I would have thrown it out!.!.!.no question!. I am not very materialistic and it really doesn't bother me to get rid of stuff!.
I also stopped buying Arm and Hammer products because they still test on animals!. That used to be my favorite brand of laundry detergent!.
It's just one more test of self control!. I am not a prisoner to animal products!. There is usually always an alternative and if there isn't I can live without it!.
It's amazing that most people don't understand the difference between wants and needs!. They taught all of us that as children, but its like we forget!.
For the people who say they need meat: You don't need meat, you need sustenance :)
I'll leave it at this: How would you explain to people that you are vegan when you are wearing a leather coat!?
I hope that helped a little!. I know I go on and on!. This is just a subject that I find I get passionate over!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I turned vegan a month ago and I'm just going to continue to wear what leather I already have (which is only 2 things) until they wear out and then get new, non-leather stuff!. I try to wear them as little as possible though; I don't like wearing them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I gave my non-vegan stuff away!. I gave my leather jacket to a friend, sold a down jacket on consignment and donated the earnings, and gave my leather shoes to Goodwill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I still have them but have stopped wearing them!. I haven't figured out what to do with my boots or jacket!. I think it'd be a waste to simply throw them out!.
You could always donate your wool sweaters to homeless folk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I donated them to organizations that collect clothing!. More expensive items (such as hiking boots,) I wore until I needed to buy a new pair, then bought vegan ones!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
