Question: Aside from using a portobello mushroom, what's the easiest way to make a vege burger!?

i make these a lot and love them!.!.!.!.

black bean burgers

1/2 onion, diced
1 can black beans
1/2 cup flour
2 slices bread, crumbled
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
salt and pepper to taste
oil for frying

Sautee the onions till soft, about 3-5 minutes!. In a large bowl, mash the beans until almost smooth!. Add sauteed onions and the rest of the ingredients, except the oil, adding the flour a few tablespoons at a time to combine well!. Mixture will be thick!.

Form bean mixture into patties, approximately ? inch thick and fry patties in a small amount of oil until slightly firm!. Make veggie burgers and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can make a delicious patty from mashed beans!. Use any kind of beans or lentils, a little mashed potato, some chopped onions, celery, and parsley, or whatever else strikes your fancy!. Mash them all together and bind them with a beaten egg or some ground flax seed, then grill, fry or broil it!. You can also chop up some mushrooms in the mix!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I vote for chick pea patties, or tofu!. The question did ask for the, "easiest way to make a veggie burger!." When your in a rush and don't have any boca burgers left they both work!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Chick peas and bread crumbs
Mash up the chick peas, with a potato masher, and keep adding bread crumbs until it can be formed into patties!. Then fry them up!.

How about tofu!? !.!.!.!.!.slice extra-firm tofu into very thick slices!. Brush with olive oil; sprinkle with garlic salt & oregano and grill on both sides until brown!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
