Answers:
You're a pescetarian, not a semi-vegetarian!.
A semi-vegetarian is someone who doesn't eat red meat (beef, pork, veal etc!.) but eats other types of meat, including poultry and fish, and consumes eggs and dairy products!.
A pescetarian is someone who eats fish and other seafood, and eggs and dairy products, but doesn't eat any other meat, including poultry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you are a "pescetarian" and that is not a type of vegetarian!. If you cut out the fish, you will be vegetarian, not semi-vegetarian!. Take baby steps, turn vegetarian first (for 1-3yrs) and then turn vegan!. If you go vegetariand then vegan in 1 month, you will most likely go back to your old ways!. I turned vegetarian from one day to another and never turned back, but it is not as easy to turn vegetarian and then vegan from one day to another!. i plan on becoming vegan in about one more year!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There's really no such thing as "semi-vegetarian!." That's like being "semi-pregnant!." You either are or you're not!. Eating fish would make you a pescetarian, which is not a type of vegetarian!. I'm curious as to why you'd think it was necessary to eat dead fish to stay on your dance team; there are Olympic gold medalists and Ironman triathletes that are vegan and vegetarian!. It's entirely possible to have a truly vegetarian diet that meets even the needs of athletes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
No, you would not be a vegetarian!. People may refer to you as one, to make things easier, but technically you would be labeled as a pescatarian - a person who eats no meat except fish!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Why do you care what you're "considered"!? Do what you want to do regarding diet, and if you get pressure from someone to change for them, tell them to get stuffed, and do what YOU want!. It's your life!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You would be considered a pescatarian because of the tuna, if you eat eggs and dairy but no fish you would be a vegetarian:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Just as there is no such thing as being semi pregnant!.!.there is no such thing being semi vegetarian!. Either you are or you aren't!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There is no such things as a 'semi-vegetarian'!. As the old joke goes - that would sort of like being a 'little bit pregnant'!.
Figure out why you want to be a vegetarian or a vegan for that matter!. Once you figure that out - being one is not going to be difficult at all!. But till you have that settled within yourself - your going to have problems being one!.
Is it because it is something that is a personal choice - or are you doing it because others people are and you want to fit in with the group or be part of that group!? Not trying to sound harsh - or even mean - just trying to get you to think about why so that you can actually have success if you decide to make the change later on down the road!.
To attempt to do something only to fail at it - stinks - at least it does to me!. Helping someone to not have such happen to them - a plus in my book!. I hope that you find the answer no matter what choice you end up making!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fish is not suitable for vegetarians!. No type of vegetarian eats flesh of any kind (so no fish, poultry, red meats, byproducts of slaughter)!.
The tuna stops you from being vegetarian!. You're so close, but if you want to go fully vegetarian the fish has to go!.
I wouldn't worry too much over labels though!. The only element in your diet that makes you a non vegetarian is the tuna!. Fish isn't needed for protein, there are a number of protein sources (beans, nuts, soy products, etc)!.
Whether you continue to eat fish or not is up to you!. It's whatever makes you happiest!. Personally, I think you're so close to being vegetarian, why not give it a try!? But ultimately it's your decision!.
Ask yourself, what would make you truly happier!? Being a vegan, vegetarian, or meat eater!? Listen to your instincts!. Follow your heart!.
Best wishes!.

@tiburon!.chick- This is what the Vegetarian Society says about eating fish:
''Vegetarians do not eat fish!. Fish may not appear as cute and cuddly as young lambs, however they do feel pain and they do suffer!. The fishing industry is responsible for some of the most environmentally damaging practices affecting our seas and oceans today!. What’s more eating fish can be bad for your health''!.

Being Vegan and being Vegetarian are two very different things!. That being said, you cannot eat fish and be considered a vegetarian!. (in my opinion) But, some people still like to use that term even if they eat fish!. (which makes no sense to me what-so-ever) Vegetarians eat NO MEAT!. Anyways!.!.!.I'm not sure what a dance team has to do with vegetarianism, but if what you are asking is about being atheletic and getting enough vitamins!.!.!.then you CAN do that as a vegetarian!. I played soccer for 12 year, competitive and for my school and was vegetarian for 4 years of it!. I always took supplements, and I was very healthy!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes, just as long as you dont eat cows, chicken, or any other kind of "farm" animal it would be considerd vegitarian!. Not eating egg, or dairy would be considered vegan!. Hope this helps and good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes,semi vegetarian!. There is so many names for what type of vegetarians you can be!. Like if you only eat fish, but no eggs and no other meat!.!.!.etc etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
no i would say vegiterian but try to limit the tunaWww@FoodAQ@Com
There's nothing wrong with yogurt, eggs or tuna!. Yogurt is made from milk!. DUH! right!? Cows really do need to be milked otherwise they have complications as far as infections and such!. Cows need to be milked!. I would never drink milk straight, I think milk's disgusting, but I will eat yogurt!. Yogurt is ok!. Eggs are sort of like a gift from the chickens to you!. As long as they come from non caged chickens, eggs are fine too!. Eggs are good for a person like everything else in moderation!. Nothing has to die so you can have eggs anyway!. Now tuna I think is also fine, yes the fish has to die, and yes i'm sure it can feel pain just like the rest of us!. But i'm sure their whole nervous system is completely different from anything with fur!. I don't know to what extent they feel the pain or if they even know anything at all!. It sounds mean to say, but that's how I feel!. I consider myself vegetarian and I eat fish!. Nothing wrong with it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
