3 cups medium egg noodles, uncooked
8 ounces tofutti sour cream

Directions
*Combine all ingredients except sour cream in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat!.
*Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium-low!.
*Simmer 6 minutes; stir gently!.
*Simmer 6 more minutes, or until noodles are tender!. I find that if I don't stir halfway through cooking time, the noodles cook a little unevenly!.
*Remove from heat; stir in sour cream!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Like the first lady I use a mix of mushrooms and soya chunks I have cut and soaked in veggie broth and soya sauce, I use a bit of dairy sour cream and egg less noodles!.

You can slightly brown the mushrooms and some onions and add the soya product, a bit more sauting and then a bit of veggie broth, a onion powder I found in the Asian markets, a bit soya sauce and simmer until the mushrooms and soya is tender, off the heat mix a 1/4 cup of water with 2 tsp of cornstarch or potato starch your dairy sour cream, I use low fat (5%) hence the cornstarch, or even soya yougart with the same slurry, and add it to the simmering mix, when it comes back to the simmer give it 1 minute off the heat and some chopped parsley or green onions and serve over the noodles or rice, with a nice green veg, as for the soya products, as the first lady said any soya slices/chunks/ground product or the dried ones soaked are fine, I use a mix of canned stock/broth and a Polish Vegeta for my flavour base!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you would just make it like regular with just mock meat instead, i think!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
