i also am a vegetarian and i also love breads and friuts but the key to being a vegetarian is protein, like from nuts (i love peanut butter) and dairy!. i love to make cheese quesidillas and baked potatoes w/ cheese and brocolli!. just have fun with it!. i've been a vegetarian for 2 1/2 years and lunches at school were always difficult, so i made pita pokets with my favorate veggis like lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and i also made pasta salad, pasta with chunks of cucumber, carrots (cut up) and cherry tomatoes and italian dressing!. It's easy once you get used to it, i'm a teen and i can do it, you should have no problemWww@FoodAQ@Com

well its not that hard! ive been a vegetarian my life, and its really simple, basically i dont eat that much different from others!. you can buy tofu/soy or even compressed veggies in veggie burgers and those types of vegetarian meals!. also simple things like rice is good!. you will learn to love these things, and you'll see how healthy you really are!. try cheesy lasagna (just dont put meat in it), try veggie pot pie (use a vegetable broth, or boiled water with a boyon cube!.) basically anything you make with meat, you can take it out! like plan mac&cheese!. go through cook books, even online, search it!.!.!. because im sure you will have better luck and satisfication on a meal than what i have to offer!.!.!. but i hope i helped! :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

Here are some good recipes:

Stir fry- You need cut up tofu, soy sauce, olive oil, steamed veggies, and cooked rice

Get a frying pan and coat it with olive oil!. The put the tofu in the pan and brown each side of it!. Next, add the veggies!. Add a little soy sauce and put in the rice!. Mix everything up and then let it sit on the stove, occasionally stirring it to make sure it doesn't burn!. After about a minute and a half of that put it in a bowl and enjoy!

Hummus- chick peas, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and any other spices/seasonings you like

Puree the chick peas!. Then add a little lemon juice, paprika, pepper, and other spices!. Then stir!. Serve with a pita, with cucumbers, or on a veggie wrap!.

I eat fish, yum yum yum, so good for you and full of protein and omega oils!. BUT I don't eat red meat, white meat or poultry!. I still call myself a Veggie!. I love Tescos Veggie Burgers, they are so easy to cook and good for you too!. The Quorn range is fab too, the chicken style slices are great for sandwiches and the mince makes a very meaty tasting spag bol!. Mmmm!.

Well done for being a veggie by the way, good for you!. ?Www@FoodAQ@Com
