Answers:
Sun dried tomato takes time to make - they have to be dried in the sun!.

The tomato mess started a few weeks ago - not long enough for them to have been dried and an ingredient within what you ate!.

But if it makes you feel better - there should be a number on the package for you to call if you have concerns - or a call to your local hospital!. I am sure that they will put your mind at ease!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, you'll be fine!. It's mainly fresh unvined tomatoes you have to worry about!. Besides, there's miniscule amounts of tomatoes in the tofurky sausage!. If it makes you fell any better, I ate that stuff too, so I'm going down with you if anything happens :DWww@FoodAQ@Com

I think it is only the Yankee tomatoes that are dangerous!. ;)
Mediterranean veggies are mostly organic and not full of dangerous substances!. Apart from that, you don't die right away from Salmonella!. So relax!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, you're going to die!. But not from eating this!. And probably not for a while!.

The salmonella scare affects only fresh tomatoes, not sundried!. And probably not those cooked into veggie sausages!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

its most likely that those things were processed long before the current crop of tainted tomatoes was even harvested!. Chill out, and don't create drama where there need not be any!. In the future, read labels BEFORE you eat, lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

The concern about salmonella had to do with fresh tomatoes!. I haven't anything about sun dried tomatoes being affected!.

You should be okay!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Those sun dried tomatoes were from a jar, likely picked long before the salmonella outbreak, plus they have been cooked into the sausages!. You're safe! :o)Www@FoodAQ@Com

The tomato was cooked, killing any salmonella bacteria that may of been in it, so its safe, don't worry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope, you're totally fine!. The processing and cooking will prevent you from becoming ill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you will be fineWww@FoodAQ@Com
