Answers:
Mini poppadums and tortilla chips are even nicer than crisps!. (Salsa is vegan too, I think)Just check all your packets before you buy anything!. I also make my own dips, then you know exactly what's in them!. Here's my hummous recipe:

1 400g tin chick peas
fresh coriander, chopped
1 fat clove of organic garlic
1/2 tsp each of cumin and chilli powder
or1/4 green chilli finely chopped
juice of one lime
salt and pepper

just blitz the ingredients in a food processor, adding the lime juice gradually in case you don't need it all!. It's delicious, cheap and easy!. Serve with carrot and pepper batons!.

If you want to make guacamole, its pretty much the same, only use 2-3 ripe avocadoes instead of the chick peas

I know you only asked about crisps, but I thought you might like the recipes anyway! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alot of walkers products are suitable but some are not due to the fact that they put lactose(milk) as a flavour enhancor or somthing like that, i dont see the need but they obviously do, always check the ingredients!.

I like pringles and alot of their flavours are suitable for vegans, if they're vegetarian and vegan it says so on the back of the packet!.

Hope this helps and good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I only eat the ready salted, the others usually have MSG which I try to avoid!.
Pringles are made by Proctor & Gamble which are one of the biggest vivisectors, so as a vegan I definitely avoid them!

Try Kettle chips(posh crisps :) ) a lot of the variety are vegan, and they state it on the packet! And its nice of you to think of your friend! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

No they aren't,but they are suitable for vegetarians,as it tells you that info on packet!.

Try tescos or asdas as they sell a lot of organic crisps, and many are veggie or vegan, they should be either in crisp section or in a separate organic section!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

No way!!!

All the Walkers products run along the same conveyor belt!. They add milk [protein] powder!. Why!? I don't know!. I do know that SOME dairy milk/products contains Bovine Growth Hormones - which the cattle are injected with!. This then get passed into your body if you consume dairy products!.

BGH's don't do humans much good!Www@FoodAQ@Com

No they arent!. They have milk powder in the flavouring!. Pringles, salted are, and so are the bbq!. Read the back of the box and they tell you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

rice cakes are the way forward!Www@FoodAQ@Com
