Answers:
I eat anything I want!. I have recipes that I use!.
I can replace dairy and eggs in just about any recipe!.
Instead of meat, I use tofu, seitan (made out of wheat flour), tempeh (fermented soybeans), regular old beans, or even mock-meat products!.
I eat anything from pasta dishes like lasagna or spaghetti and veggieballs to cookies and pumpkin pie!.
There are delicious soy milk based ice creams, some of which are incredibly indulgent, like creamy mint ice cream with chocolate cookie chunks or fudgy chocolate ice cream with a peanut butter drizzle!.
I make scramled tofu and veggies for breakfast, or oatmeal and fresh fruit, or a fruit smoothie, or soy or almond milk with cereal!.
Lunch can be a whole grain sandwich with peanut butter and jelly, or maybe veggie lasagna with tofu ricotta, or veggie pizza with vegan cheese (there are some amazing, melting cheeses that are just fantastic)!. Maybe a baked potato with bean chili!? Yum!.
Dinner is anything I want, any recipe you can think of can be made vegan!. Breaded, fried tempeh nuggets with potato chips and tomato salad, maybe!. Beans and rice and a side of veggies!. Maybe stir fry with rice and tofu!. Rice noodles with peanut sauce and edamame is wonderful!. Delicious Indian food, like chickpea biryani with fragrant basmati rice and potatoes and onions!
The only difference is that no animal was exploited, killed or otherwise worked through the machine of humiliation, indifference and cruelty that is modern factory farming!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

glen w was wrong to suggest Quorn products as they contain egg mostly, that's not to say I don't like them because I do, as I'm Vegetarian and eat their products regularly!.
I used to be a Vegan from the age of 13 - 16, and it's important for Vegan's to get some protein that they will lack by not consuming dairy products!.
Nuts are the best source of protein for a Vegan, so find a good nut roast in your local health food store or make one yourself from recipes!. Soya milk is also a must if your friend can tolerate the taste!
There's a company called 'Fry's Vegetarian' that make a great range of products that are suitable for Vegans, they assured me at a Viva show that all their products are suitable for Vegans, even though they are called 'Fry's Vegetarian'Www@FoodAQ@Com

Vegans avoid food source from animals--no meat, dairy, eggs, honey!. If you buy something packaged, you'll want to check the ingredients for dairy/eggs/honey!. Most products now say in bold print at the bottom whether or not they contain dairy/eggs/fish and other common (vegan) allergens, such as peanuts, soy, and wheat!.
Since you've obviously been making veggie food for her when she visits, transitioning to vegan is not going to be a big deal!. But I would certainly talk to her about the relatively small change in her diet to make sure you don't make anything she can't eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could make her a delicious stir-fry!. Cut up fresh vegetables and fry them in a little oil and vegetarian stir-fry sauce!.
Cook some brown rice and fry it too when it's finished!.
Then serve the stir-fry over the rice!.
It's a simple thing to make and you can choose whatever veggies her and you would enjoy!.
You could even get faux meat in the form of hamburger!. It is sold frozen and in the refrigerated section!. There are few different brands and I find they are all good except Boca!.
You can make tacos with that meat or you could make sloppy joes or chili with it!. Just be sure that any other ingredients you use don't contain any animal products!. Some bread contains milk or eggs!. I think taco shells are safe, but I would check if I were you!. You can even get vegan sour cream for on the tacos!.
It is so nice that you are willing to go the extra mile for your friend!. Friends like you are really hard to come by!. I am sure she will appreciate any trouble you go to for her!.
Fresh fruit is great too!. I know I personally can't get enough of it!. I can even eat it as a meal!. I like to eat all sorts of fruit and maybe some jelly toast or peanut butter!.
You can ask her what kinds of stuff she likes the best!. Take care!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

in short, vegans dont eat any food made by any part of an animal, including milk!. vegans also arnt supposed to wear clothing or own anything made from animals, but most vegans do anyway and just call themselves vegans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
You much also avoid gelatin and many of the Morningstar Farms products, while wonderful for vegetarians, do contain milk and egg products!.
