Should I hire a nutritionist?!

Question: Should I hire a nutritionist!?
I am trying to become vegetarian (I still eat fish trying to stop though) in miami!.
I was wondering to make it easier on myself and to gain knowledge faster if hiring a nutritionist who specializes in Vegetarian/vegan/macro/and raw foods would be a good idea!.
I know i could ask people who are those things but what if I hire a professional who is really indept familiar with the lifestyle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
The difference between a book and a professional is that they will work with your diet and help you with things that you will actually be able to implement!. Some things, like iron absorption will differ markedly from person to person!. So you will be getting info that is relevant to you!.

We all know having a written diet plan in front of us doesn't work! The person should help you with what you like, eating out and personal problems you have!.

However, a dietitian is better than a nutritionist!. The name nutritionist is not legally protected so you don't know what kind of qualifications the person has!. Anyone can call themselves one!. At least you know a dietitian has a 4 year bachelor degree and specializes in the area!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you've got the cash, why not!?

Hiring a vegan aware professional who has particular expertise in nutrition is probably going to be of great help in transition!. I've got by without one, but if you can get one, I think it's a great idea!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could buy a lot of good books with the money it would cost to hire a nutritionist!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
