Here's one I got from a local newspaper not too long ago, ended up liking it a lot!. Instructions are assuming you use a rice cooker to cook your rice (i've seen people use the stove before, that's alien to me being from hawaii though)
Sesame Rice with soybeans
Main ingredients:
1 1/2 cups white rice
1 1/2 cups mochi rice
1/2 cup white sesame seeds
1/2 pound soybeans
Seasoning:
3 tablespoons sesame seed oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons sake
3 tablespoons mirin
1 tablespoon dashi powder
1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
After washing and draining white rice, place white rice, mochi rice, sesame seeds and soybeans into rice cooker!.
Add seasoning ingredients into cup used to measure rice and top off with water!. Pour into rice cooker!. Add two more cups of water (using rice measuring cup) into rice cooker!. Cover and cook!.
Notes: Some of the ingredients you'll only find at an asian food store!. If you can't find the sake or mirin, it's no big deal, sometimes I don't use it!. also most of the time I use brown rice unless I'm making it for parties/guests!. The general population seems to like white rice better than brown rice!. Brown rice is more an acquired taste :)

I like to do a curry dish with boiled rice!. Just grab a can of coconut milk, add some curry powder to it, a dash of salt and sugar (I use agave nectar), and then add some stir fry veggies to the whole thing!. Yum!. I would also add some pan roasted cashews, or any other nut you prefer, for some crunch and added protein!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
