Where are all the bees going?!
I am seriously concerned!!!!!!!!!! Bees are very beautiful creatures!. What is happening to the bees!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
Answers:
They are dying from something called CCD, or Colony Collapse Disorder!. Basically, for unknown reasons, bees leave the nest and die!. It may be due to environmental factors, like humans dumping as much junk into the air as they possibly can!. This is a huge problem considering that bees pollinate a lot of our food sources!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I heard it was cell phones!.Cell phones now span the globe and a huge part of the population carries one!. Scientists say that the signals from cell phones disrupt the ability of the bees to orient themselves and then they loose their way home and die from lack of nutrition!. All cell phones put out a form of radiation and this can confuse the bees greatly!. There is not enough knowledge yet of the bee disappearances to make a final decision on what the cause of the problem is!. Hopefully with this story now making headlining news articles around the country, more scientists will focus their efforts on the issue and they will be able to narrow down the long list of possible causesWww@FoodAQ@Com
one thing that could be possible is parasites!. There is a parasite that can cause a bee to only live for like 8 days which is long enough for the parasite to breed in the bee and it kills the bee in the process and i think that the bee dies before it becomes sexually mature or something like that hence making the bee population drop, i learned this in my parasitology class and it was on the subject of the bee population plumeting!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
diseases!. pesticides, direct industrial pollution, and climate change can't be helping much either!.
p!.s!. beautiful creatures!? are you kidding me!? Do you realize that they are much more than that!? They are vital for pollenation in many species of plants, and without them, we're kinda ****** right now!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's more than just that----without bees many crops will be devastated because the farmers depend on bees to pollenate them, not to mention honey production!.

They are all dying off because of the killing of a lot of plant life to give nectar (pollen) to the bees!.
It is really sad!.

If they didn't pollinate the plants, I wouldn't care at all about the bees, but since they do and since their disappearance could pose a threat to our food supply, I'm somewhat concerned!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
