Question: Is soy good for you!? soy joy bars!?
I tried soy milk and it tasted horrible, but what about those 'soy joy' bars are they good for you, what do they do!? Do they taste good, though!? Thank you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Soy is basically rich in protein, which helps build, replace and maintain tissue in your body, like muscle and organs etc, among many many other things!. Its very good for you, and its an essential part of your diet!. Your body uses protein for so many things, but there are many ways to get protein in your diet besides soy, such as meats, fish and eggs!. If you dont like soy milk, you should try soy chocolate milk!. Im not a fan of the milk myself, but the chocolate milk is amazing!. I havent tried the bars, but Im guessing it tastes just like most energy bar/ nutrition bars!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Soy is good for you, although the less processed the better!. If you don't like the soy milk you tried, try another brand!. Or just use it to pour over cereal and in baking and cooking!. You can get soy by eating edamame (steamed whole soybeans, very popular in Japan), tofu, tempeh (an Indonesian food product made of fermented soybeans!. It comes in cakes and has a nutty, chewy texture), and miso (a Japanese paste often made of fermented soybeans)!.

I've never had the Soy Joy bars, as I usually get my soy by eating tofu or tempeh!. Check the nutrition label to see the calories, fat, protein, and sugar content!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hello!! :)

The answers to the following question ( http://answers!.yahoo!.com/question/index;!.!.!. ) might be helpful to "solve", at least some your concerns!.

I don't know what are "soy joy" bars, maybe I'll find out!.

I my home, we made soy milk and it tasted (if I remember well) not good; we sometimes bought soy milk, brand "Ades" (in Argentina) ( http://unilever!.com!.ar/ourbrands/foods/a!.!.!. ) —unfortunately, since many years ago, it is a brand from Unilever— and the taste seemed, to me and my family, really good!. Of course, this is not pure soy milk!.

Be well! :)
