An alkaline food list is a list of foods that make you more alkaline after you've digested them!. Not all raw food is alkalizing!. To confuse you, some acid foods increase your PH! For example, a lemon is acid when you eat it, but alkalizing after you've digested it! Because you can't know if a food is alkalizing or acidifying by looking or eating it I've added a list below that tells you just that!.
For a balanced raw food diet it is important to eat a significant amount of alkalizing foods!. These are mainly the well known vegetables (especially raw greens), fresh herbs, grasses (wheat grass) and sprouts!.
The right alkaline balance is critical to good health!. To see how acid or alkaline you are, you can do a simple test using ph test strips (litmus paper)!. When you just start on a raw food diet, it may be very hard to become alkaline!. Even if you eat raw greens all day!. I find that juicing greens (with fruits or herbs) speeds up this process tremendously, but it may still not be enough!.
I that case, you may want to use some alkalizing supplements!. Examples are (Himalayan) sea salt, coral calcium, silicum, PH drops or green powder!. I will tell you what I use on the supplement page that I'm writing!.
In short, the list of alkaline foods is all that's raw and green, and an acid food list is all that's processed, junk food, sugars, all animal products and grains!. For the complete list you can download the page below!.

The whole idea of raw food diets are to eat RAW FOODS!. That includes ALL veggies, as long as they aren't cooked over 115 degrees farenheit!. Same with fruits!. Veggies that have had added salts and preservatives, liked canned ones, usually aren't raw!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
