What's the vegan friendliest state in the US?!

Question: What's the vegan friendliest state in the US!?
Answers:
Any west coast state!.!.!.!.!.Oregon, Washington, and California!. I wouldn't say it's California "hands-down" as Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington are two of the most vegetarian cities in the U!.S!.
See this link from PETA which lists the top ten:

EDIT: I would definitely suggest looking at individual cities instead of whole states!.!.!.!.I know for a fact that there are areas in California that will think you are a nutcase if you don't eat meat!. I'm sure there are similar areas in Washington and Oregon as well!.!.!.!.!.but PETA lists the top two vegetarian cities as Portland and Seattle!. I would say that large cities would beat small towns in veg*nism any day just because there are always more options!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

On a city-basis, Portland OR and Seattle would rank right up there, but the rest of those states (at least Washington) are far less veg-friendly!. So, on a state-basis, I'd probably guess California, since there are several cities and metropolitan areas that are very vegan friendly (including L!.A!. and particularly the Bay Area!.)Www@FoodAQ@Com

thats true that california does have vegan restaurants, but remember!.!.!.they have one of the worst slaughter houses in the U!.S!.!. so you decide if its friendly!.im a vegan and i say its not!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

California!. Lots of fresh vegetables & exotic fruits from ethnic supermarkets, farmers markets, and regular supermarket!. I can even find organic lettace at a 99cents store!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd agree with California!. When I went to LA, there were tons of vegan and vegetarian restaurants, sushi bars, etc!. IF you're thinking countries, India and Japan are the friendliest!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That's kind of obvious!.!.!. California!. They have more veg*n resturants and more veg*ns!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd assume it's California !.!.!.!.!. or Hawaii!.!.!.!. the states with an abundance of fresh produce, all year roundWww@FoodAQ@Com

Besides California,I would think Washington State is a close second!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I dunno about states as a whole, but Portland is vegan paradise!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

NOT louisiana!. Or Texas!. For every cow you don't eat!.!.!. We'll eat two!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
