Eat meat with a vegetarian date?!

Question: Eat meat with a vegetarian date!?
I'm going out on a date with a friend who's a vegetarian!. Personally I think it's a little silly, but I respect her choices!. The thing is that I absolutely hate vegetables (yea, yea I know, I'll die young, sure whatever)!. If I order like a steak or something of that type, will it be!.!.!. insulting or is it a bad idea or something!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It depends if you were hoping to get lucky!. I personally would not want to make love to a man that just tackled a big bloody gob of meat!.

To better understand the choice people make to go vegetarian, please go to www!.meat!.org!. It will show you why she is the way she is!.

There are other things than steak that you could have!. There is pasta!. Take her to olive garden if she still eats eggs!. Their pasta has eggs in it, but they have tons of choices for vegetarians!

I wish you luck and I hope this helps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you actually respect her choices, you might want to refrain from referring to them as "silly," as that contradicts the respect you're professing!.

Vegetarians are quite used to being around people eating meat!. Just don't point out the blood, ask her if she wants any, or wave a hunk of bloody flesh on a fork in her face!.

It's fine if you hate vegetables, everyone has their own preferences!. If you act with simple respect and common courtesy, everything will be okay!.

One more thing: do not bring up her reasons for being a vegetarian, or justifications for eating meat at the table!. Such discussions are inappropriate for dinner conversation!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I somehow doubt your only choices are vegetables or steak!. Get a pasta dish or something, without meat!. If the date goes well, and you suspect it's going somewhere, next time get something with a little bit of meat in it!. Again, pasta dishes work well!. For now, I'd skip the big bloody steak!. If she says anything against it, let her know that you respect her decision, but you have no interest in going veg and you would hope she would respect your lifestyle choices as well!. I'm assuming she knows you're an omni, so you're in luck!. If she wasn't okay dating a meat eater, would she really have accepted your date!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can't say you think it's silly but you respect her choices!.!.!. if you think it's silly than you don't respect her choices!.!.!. i don't get the impression you really care about this girl or your own health entirely too much!.!.!.!. you can order a steak and i'm sure she's used to it!.!.!. if you wanted to "wow" her tho you could find a restaurant with more options for her to eat!.!.!. or you could refrain from meat for the ONE meal!.!.!. either way is fine!.!. just figure out how much you really "respect" her choice first!.!.!. i would date someone who ate steak!.!.!. not someone who thought what i believe is "silly"Www@FoodAQ@Com

eat what you want!. and being a vegetarian is far from silly its a healthy lifestyle choice!. i have been one for 15 years and i am in great shape and i am rarely sick!. studies have found that a vegetarian diet and exercise can actually reverse some cancer cells!

silly! no way! vegetarian is a healthy, kind and life affirming choice!Www@FoodAQ@Com

well, i cant speak for all vegetarians here, but i personally woulnt care!. i mean, the idea of being a vegetarian is not to make others feel bad!. its for animal rights, the enviroment, health, or whatever personal reasons she might have!. its good that you respect her though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm vegetarian; my husband isn't!. Eat what you want!. It would be hypocritical of her to expect you to respect her food choices if she in turn doesn't respect your choices!. She shouldn't expect everyone she socializes with to become vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I don't know how much you really respect her choices by calling them silly!. Maybe you should find a meat eater to date because it already sounds like you have a bad attitude about the topic (ex!. yea yea sure whatever)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you think it's silly then you obviously don't really respect her choices!. I would not bother going on this so called date if you already are forming immature and ignorant opinions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you respect her wishes it is only right and fair that she accept your choice too!.
Order your steak and if she kicks off then she isnt much of a friend or less still potential love interest!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i am sure not everyone around her daily are all vegetarian so is kinda silly for u to think that way!.but anyway a little vege once a while never hurt lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

well that sound like a oxymoron !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.out of respect please dont some can be insulted and not say anything to offend you but best advice is to not shove it in the persons faceWww@FoodAQ@Com

Your friend should also respect your choices in food also if you ask me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eat what you like, but realize your probably not getting a good night kiss from her!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it depends some of them are fine with watching people eat meat others are insulted!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

really if the person does like well she will kare kinda but hey its wat u eatWww@FoodAQ@Com
