Ignore them and just do you!. They have to figure it out on their own one day!. Being vegetarian and or vegan helps fight alot of economical and political injustices!. It is also good for you as most the food you will be eating does not have preservatives and is natural!. India has many vegetarians and vegans and they are mostly very healthy people who would not killa fly!. Energy comes from natural foods more than junk with 2-5 year shelf life!. If you are healthy and happy and eat tasty food, your friends may even become jealous or understanding of your choice to change!. I don't eat meat anymore and my digestive system is much smoother!. ;) Save the furry ones!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just be a vegetarian and prove to your friends that it's not a stupid thing to do!.
Just make sure you eat healthily, it's not that hard, just get vegi products!.
Your friends probably think you're stupid because they don't think that there's a lot to eat (healthy) with being a vegi but they're wrong so just do what you want to do and prove them seriously wrongWww@FoodAQ@Com

You're friends are looking out for you, but ultimately it's your decision!.

Just yesterday I read an article in one of the papers about two families who went vegetarian years ago, in one case the children of one family who were born after they went veggie had growth problems, brown rotting teeth and were generally less fit & healthy!. Their kids that were born while they ate a normal healthy balanced diet are not suffering with these problems!. The next article told of similar woes, they had followed a health book and believed they were getting all the nutrients they needed, as the book told them they were, but clearly they were not!.

Please make sure it's right for you and whatever you do don't cut out dairy as well!Www@FoodAQ@Com

A lot of my friends would think vegetarianism is stupid, I just said I went off the taste of meat!. If they offer you gelatinous sweets and you don't want them just say no thanks I'm on a diet!. If they've seen you with chocolate before say it's an anti-colouring and flavouring diet!. Do what you think is best hunni, don't let anyone choose the rules of your life, or you may as well be in a prison for all the living and experiencing you'll have!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i became a vegatarion and everyone except me thought it was stupid so i kno whaht your going through!!!!!what you need to tell your freinds is that you want to do this and they can either support you or dont talk to me at all if you think its stupid!.and let them kno this is something you wwant to do!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.it worked for meWww@FoodAQ@Com

half my friends think im an complete idiot for being vegan, just do it, your beliefs should outride the opinions of your friends, its not like your hurting anyone by turning veghead, i dont understand why it should bother them at all, its not really affecting them at all except going out to eat and such,Www@FoodAQ@Com

Totally!. If they don't accept you and you decisions, then they arn't really your friends!. When they tell tou it's stupid you should give them your reasons and educate them, because they probably don't know what they are talking about!.

Send them the link to watch Earthlings online!. I'l find it for you!.
Yeah, but if you want to become veggie just do it!. It was totally easy for me and now I'm vegan and loving it!. I feel awesome!.

Good luck!.

EDIT- Found the link http://www!.veoh!.com/videos/v14132439SNdF!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

tell your friends that they are perfectly right, and that you are out of f mind!.!.!.tell them for your ignorance, you shall quit eating mouthwatering burgers, gooooodddd beef, roast chicken, and also delicious pork with apple sauce!.!.!.!.!.tell them you shall start eating only cereals and grass!.!.!. HA HA HA LOLWww@FoodAQ@Com

Theres nothing wrong with being a vegitarian its not stupid at all your so right its wrong to kill animals because im a vegitarian to!.just do what you think will be best for you and dont worry what your friends think there will be times when there wrong!!! dont fuss about them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They dont seem like friends to me hun u want to be a vegertarian, then u be one!.They should respect your choice!.

They make think its stupid but everyone is differant and have differant views ,it would be a tad boring if we were all the same wouldnt it!? xxxWww@FoodAQ@Com

make up your own mind, if you belive eating animals is wrong then dont eat meat, just because your mates think its stupid doesnt mean you do, dont follow what they do be individual do what you want to do not someone else!.
xxWww@FoodAQ@Com

ask them why they think it's stupid and say to them that regardless of what they think it's something you want to do for yourself and for your principles and they should understand that and get off your back!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

do what you want shall be the whole of law
go ahead and stop thinking about what others think of you
you owned your life and no can can stop you but youself
tell your friends to respect your decision if THEY ARE YOUR FRIENDSWww@FoodAQ@Com

My friends make fun of me quite often!. I don't care!. Just do it and let them think what they want!. If they don't like you because you're vegetarian or something, they aren't your friends!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Dear me!. You cannot be that committed if a few jokes at your expense puts you off!?

Think of the reasons WHY you want to be veggie, and simply tell them those!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

tell them that it's up to u what u do and if they think it's stupid then they don't have to do it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think the bigger problem is actually trying to become a vegetarian and not whether your friends approve of it or not!. I've tried, and it just did not work!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ignore them!. do what you want to do!. its your life, not theirs!.
if you think eating stunned animals is wrong, then do so!.

:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tell them it's your choice and belief and whether it's "stupid' or not, you're going to do it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just do what you like, if your serious then why does it bother you that other people dont agree!?

It is stupid though lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

It's human nature to eat meat!.

Why the thumbs down!? I just stated a fact!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

tell them!.!.!.

"WINGS ARE FOR FLYING NOT FOR FRYING"Www@FoodAQ@Com
