There is no such thing as humane meat!. Even if that cow lived its life on a fluffy pink cloud and ate rainbows, it's still murdered in the prime of its life to satisfy someone's tastebuds!. I can't get behind the whole "happy meat" thing!.
Kim, if anything kosher slaughter is even more cruel!. My understanding is that kosher law requires the animal to be conscious when it's slaughtered, so those animals don't even have the benefit of being stunned before their throats are slit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Even open-range and organic meat animals can be treated terribly!.

Meat that is marked Kosher has to be from animals that were treated humanly before being killed, but they are still killed, so consider going veggie like me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
