Chocolate is completely vegan until humans start messing with it!. Most "commercial" chocolate is milk chocolate, which is obviously not vegan!. It's the milk that is not vegan!. Cocoa is vegan by itself!. Dark chocolate is vegan most times, but like with everything else you have to read the ingredients!.

Any chocolate that has milk in it(milk chocolate), you should stay away from if you are a vegan(even if you aren't, you should stay away from any kind of animal product)!. Stick with dark chocolate(but still read the ingredients though just in case)!. Get organic dark chocolate too if you can!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
