Can you cook anything in a crock pot?!


Question: Can you cook anything in a crock pot!?
I have a lot of fresh veggies, would it be ok to throw them all in the crock pot!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sure-chuck them all in a you are good to go!. If you want more of a veggie stew, just throw in some canned or fresh tomato for liquid!. If you want them more soupy, add broth or stock!. If you want them roasted, just add them dry!. I make lots of things in the crock, including bread and cakes! Yum!.!.!.!.super easy too!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you add stew meat you can make a yummy stew!.
Here'sw the recipe:
Slow Cooker Beef Stew

1 1/2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
6 medium carrots cut into 1 inch slices
1 medium onion coarsely chopped
3 celery ribs coarsely chopped
3 Tablspoons all purpose flour
1 1/2 pounds stew meat cut into 1 inch cubes
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 can diced tomatoes, undarined
1 cup beef broth
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon browning sauce

layer the potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery in a 5 qt slow cooker!. Place flourin a large resealable plastic bag!. Add stew meat!. Seal and toss to coat evenly!. In a large skillet, brown meat in oil!. Place over begetables!. In large bowl, combine the tomatoes, broth mustard, salt, pepper, thyme & browning sauce!. Pour over beef!./ Coer and cook on high for 1 1/2 hours!. Reduce heat to low!. Cook 7*8 hours or until vegetables and meat are tender!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

yes they'll cook just fine,put longer cooking veg in first ,add quicker cooking veg about one third through cooking time !.
adding herbs will add flavour !.Www@FoodAQ@Com
