Answers:
first off, vegetarians who eat fish are pescetarians!. and they are annoying, unless they announce the fact that they are pescetarian, then there is no problem!. people who eat chicken eat chicken, the end!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Umm!.!.!.chill some!. I'm a vegetarian!.!.!.(Lacto-ovo)
and umm yes it does mean you are vegetarian of you eat some meat (fish and chicken)
the only annoying person is you because for a vegetarian you don't know alot about them!.
1!. Pescatarian (also spelled pescetarian)
The word “pescatarian” is occasionally used to describe those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh with the exception of fish!. Although the word is not commonly used, more and more people are adopting this kind of diet, usually for health reasons or as a stepping stone to a fully vegetarian diet!.
2!. Flexitarian/Semi-vegetarian
You don’t have to be vegetarian to love vegetarian food! “Flexitarian” is a term recently coined to describe those who eat a mostly vegetarian diet, but occasionally eat meat!.
3!. Vegetarian (Lacto-ovo- vegetarian)
When most people think of vegetarians, they think of lacto-ovo-vegetarians!. People who do not eat beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish or animal flesh of any kind, but do eat eggs and dairy products are lacto-ovo vegetarians (“lacto” comes from the Latin for milk, and “ovo” for egg)!.
Lacto-vegetarian is used to describe a vegetarian who does not eat eggs, but does eat dairy products!.
Ovo-vegetarian refers to people who do not eat meat or dairy products but do eat eggs!.
4!. Vegan
Vegans do not eat meat of any kind and also do not eat eggs, dairy products, or processed foods containing these or other animal-derived ingredients such as gelatin!. Many vegans also refrain from eating foods that are made using animal products that may not contain animal products in the finished process, such as sugar and some wines!. There is some debate as to whether certain foods, such as honey, fit into a vegan diet!.
5!. Raw vegan/Raw food diet
A raw vegan diet consists of unprocessed vegan foods that have not been heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46 degrees Celsius)!. “Raw foodists” believe that foods cooked above this temperature have lost a significant amount of their nutritional value and are harmful to the body!.
6!. Macrobiotic
The macrobiotic diet, revered by some for its healthy and healing qualities, includes unprocessed vegan foods, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and allows the occasional consumption of fish!. Sugar and refined oils are avoided!. Perhaps the most unique qualifier of the macrobiotic diet is its emphasis on the consumption of Asian vegetables, such as daikon, and sea vegetables, such as seaweed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If these people weren't still vegetarians, why would they have invented names for them!? (semi-veggie, pesco-veggie, etc)!. I am vegetarian and I eat chicken and fish, but I am vegetarian for health reasons!.
I agree that someone who is against animal cruelty cannot eat chicken and still call themselves vegetarian!. That doesn't make sense!.
On the other hand, some of the vegetarian's I know find it hard to be vegetarian and still eat a balanced diet (I mean its no easy feat), so they have decided that it is best to eat chicken and have the proper balance of nutrients than to abandon all meat and then struggle to eat the right vegetables to get the protein!. If you get free-range chicken it is slightly more humane than the feed lot chicken (but I mean, they do still kill it)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

YES!! Aargh!! It's like saying that you eat only orange vegetables, but not the green ones!! It's not called vegetarianism, it's called picky eating, although some do it for health reasons, I don't see any need to degrade the reputation of actual vegetarians by clinging to a label!.
Edit: Fish is meat loser!. Fish have highly developed nervous systems and feel as much pain as mammals do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Oh God, I hate people like you!! I've been a vegetarian for 3 years and I still eat fish!! I am a "vegetartian"!. I only do it for health reasons!. Most beef and pork is unhealthy, so I just try and eat chicken and fish!. I know, fried chicken and fish sticks aren't healthy, but for the most part, chicken and fish are healthier than beef and pork!.
By the way, what is your question!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
By the way, what is your question!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
I know what you mean!. I think they're ignorant of the fact that ALL meat and other animal products are off limits not just some types!. I think that's partly the reason why, in some places vegetarians are still offered fish like in one of the pubs in the village I live in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Well - I've heard them called some choice names in the past, but VEGETARTIAN must surely be a winner - and as for you being able to "still light beer" - that's a good trick too - or does being vegetarian affect the ability type!. It certainly seems likely ! ! !Www@FoodAQ@Com
