Question: Is Cadbury's cruelty-free!?
Is the milk that they use taken from cows involving cruelty or is it all fair and kind!? Although it's not Organic, I was wondering!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Cadbury is not likely to be very responsible or caring regarding the milk it sources plus it uses huge amounts since it's one of the biggest companies in the world!.

Further, Cadbury and most of the other chocolate companies (and the middlemen such as Cargill) source their cacao beans from countries with huge child slavery issues on the plantations and they haven't done much to counteract the problems despite publicity, pressure, movies, and congressional mandates!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cadbury-Schweppes is one of the largest food companies in the world, so I would be hesitant to say that they use milk from humanely-raised dairy cows!. They get ingredients from so many different sources that it would be impossible to know, but common sense tells me that if they are one of the big food conglomerates, then they probably don't have any anti-cruelty standards!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes!. They advocate a technique know as "masichist - milking"!. While they are milking them, they force the cows to watch violent imagery while listening to Celine Dionne!.

Then, when their done, they take a cute bunny rabbit out of a burlap sack, show it to a cow and then blow its brains out!.

It's a lot like Auschwitz, actually!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well I don't know if there is any such thing as cruelty free chocolate!. Sugar is often harvested in the third world by machete and most of the cocoa in the world comes from Africa where is processed by child labor!.

Oh but as long as the cows are happy, I guess the rest doesn't matter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My guess is that they would just take the milk the old-fashioned way, I don't think that they would have to be cruel to the cows, and to get quality milk, you need to treat the cows properly!.!.!.not pooly!. So, to reduce losses, I think that Cadbury would treat their cows right!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have no idea!. But eating cadbury often would be cruel to your body!. Cruel but delicious!.
