Vegitarian meals?!

Question: Vegitarian meals!?
I need ideas!. I am sick of having the same things! please helpWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I'm also vegetarian!.

One easy thing to make is pasta!. You probably eat lots already, but there are different ways to prepare it!. I like to put pesto and parmesan on mine, instead of just red sauce and cheese!. Or if you have some veggies around the house, you can take some prego sauce, chop up some veggies, and put the sauce and veggies in a pan and put it on the stove and let it simmer!. I use yellow peppers, onions, brocolli, and sometimes other veggies!. It's delicious on pasta with mozerella!.
Morningstar burgers!. They are delicious!. Never get bocca burgers, because they are definately not as good!. A favorite of mine is a hamburger bun, onion, lettuce, tomato, etc!. and a Morningstar burger!.
If you're open to trying new things, go to your most diverse grocery store and try to find some hummus!. Do not get the Tribe or Tribal brand, because it is quite frankly disgusting and an insult to hummus, but if you can find Sabra, get a classic hummus and some pita chips to go with it!. It's a great snack, and if you feel like a whole meal, buy some pita bread and you can make a hummus sandwhich with spinach, tomato, onion, and a slice of any cheese (i prefer provolone on mine) with either pita chips or Sun Chips on the side!. It's a great meal!
I'm sure you've heard of this already, but another thing I do is take english muffins, put marinara sauce or any other kind of sauce on them, pick out some freash veggies, and make pizzas in the oven!. The best toppings are feta cheese, onions, and yellow peppers!.
For breakfast I usually just eat Special K with a bananna, or Wheaties!. Not really special, but still delicious!. Oh, and if your local grocery store has those new milk jugs that are sort of squared, that milk tastes much fresher than anything I've ever had, besides organic (I'm talking from the farm organic!. There's a small farm near me)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well what things do you eat!?

-I like to make tofu scrambles (tofu, vegetables, etc!.)
-There are always muffins, breads, other flour-y things to bake!.
-Veggie burgers are good, I like them with mustard and to make them more fibre-ish I like to wrap them in a cabbage leaf!.
-Pizzas are always interesting!. You can use different types of breads too, not just pizza crust!. If you use a long flat bread (lavash bread, tortilla) you can make pizza wraps and bake them in the oven!. They're really good!.
-Stir-fry some vegetables
-Go out to a thai restaurant (they usually have some really good tofu meals)
-Just try new recipes with the things you have at home!. It's really fun and it tastes good!. I've been a vegetarian for almost 2 years, and I love to make food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends if you are ordering out or cooking!. For ordering, Thai and Indian restaurants usually have a great vegetarian menu!. For cooking, try:
- Pasta and anything
- Potatoes and Cauliflower
- Lentil Burgers
- Vegetable soups
- salads
- Rice and beans
- Fried eggplant
- Quiche with any kind of vegetables or cheese
- Fallafel w/ Humus

Here are a couple of my favs -

BBQ Tofu
Marinade extra firm tofu in BBQ sauce for several hours and then cook in a skillet!. Once browned I generally add another tablespoon of BBQ and mix in!. Serve with brown rice and your choice of steamed vegetables!. also, with the leftovers I will make a tofu burger on a wheat bun (you can add lettuce, tomato, soy cheese, etc!. to jazz it up)

Veggie Pizza
Place a tortilla wrap on foil and season w/oregano, garlic & red pepper!. Chop fresh spinach, marinated artichokes, mushrooms – whatever you like on your pizza and then top off with soy or rice cheese!. Broil for 4-6 minutes until the wrap begins to brown at the edges – Careful it’ll burn fast!

Like bluhbluh mentioned, allrecipes is a great place to look!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I once met a vegitarian who went to Buenos Aires and now is one no longer!. Mmmmm, steak!.

But back on subject: I'd stick to chicken burritos!. Those some may try and argue Chickens are actually an animal and not a vegitable, there is no conclusive proof of this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
