coffee filters might tear!. you could use a thin cotton dish towel, one that's worn (but clean, of course)!. that actually might work better than even cheese cloth for what you're doing!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have a friend who used flat diapers!. They're nice because they're sturdy enough to be washed and reused several times!.

My mom always used muslin instead of cheesecloth!. It comes in different thread counts, so you can choose what kind of flow you want!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I used a baby onsie to drain yogurt for tzatziki and it worked really well!.

I would think thin cloth of some sort is your best bet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
