Can you suggeest vegan probiotics?!

Question: Can you suggeest vegan probiotics!?
I'm a vegan and would like to take probiotics rather than stuff up on anti-biotics!. The probiotics commonly available are curds, etc!.

Any easily available vegan alternatives!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It is possible to make soy yogurts with probiotic cultures such as acidophilus!. I'm not sure what brands are available in your country but why don't you try your local supermarket/co-op!. Just check the ingrediants list to see if they use live cultures!.

There are also probiotics available in pill form; however, these were developed by a researcher at my university so I don't know how world-wide they are!. Try asking your local chemist!.

Sorry this answer isn't too specific but I hope it at least gives you hope that there are vegan sources of probiotics out there!.!.!. best of luck tracking them down :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You certainly can take these in pill form!. Try a supplement store or online supplement store to check out your options!. Not all probiotics/digestive enzymes come from animals!. Papain (pah-pay-ean) is a digestive enzyme from papaya, for example!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
