If your including some eggs and dairy in your vegetarian diet, you really don't need to worry about vitamins, unless you have a health problem that requires them!. I'd talk to your doctor if your concerned!. He may want you to take an iron supplement, because us girls tend to need more of that then the boys do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

A vegetarian diet, if properly balanced does not need any additional supplements, however some people do feel more comfortable taking a multivitamin as a safegaurd!.

I personally think that the vitamin industry is a scam!. They convince people that they need to take pill after pill, when in fact these pills are not necessary!. Your best and most complete source of nutrition should be food!. The body best absorbs and keeps vitamins that we get from the various foods that we eat!.

Taking pills cannot make up for the fact that someone does not eat a healthy balanced diet, so please be sure you are eating properly in conjunction with vitamin pills!.

Personally, I would suggest simply taking a good multivitamin, possible an added D vitamin(since some studies have shown that as much as 40% of adults/children are lacking in D, due to decreased sun exposure and the increased use of sunscreen!. it you still feel the need you can use the flax seed oil, but it would be better to just add a few spoonfuls of ground flax seed to your morning oatmeal, homemeade muffins, etc!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
