Vegetarians ?!


Question: Vegetarians !?
i want to become a vegetarian!. my family had a bbq today and i stuck to my morlas of not eating meat!. i started on the forth of july!. my uncle who is a butcher informed me on how they slutter the animal and i did not like it!. as of now, temptation is not an issue but staying healthy is!. Any ideas on how to stay healthy food wise!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Actually being a vegetarian and cutting meat out of your diet is healthier! The following diseases are commoner among meat eaters: anaemia, appendicitis, arthritis, breast cancer, cancer of the colon, cancer of the prostrate, constipation, diabetes, gallstones, gout, high blood pressure, indigestion, obesity, piles, strokes and varicose veins!. Vegetarians visit hospital 22% less often than meat eaters and for shorter stays!. Vegetarians have a 20% lower blood cholestrol level than meat eaters and this reduces heart attack and cancer risks considerably!.

Stick to eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, salads, pastas,etc!. Something I love are boca chicken patties!. They look like chicken, taste like chicken but they are made of vegetable protein!. Sounds gross but once you try them they are incredible plus good for you !

Good luck to you on being a vegetarian!.!.!. you are doing a incredible thing for your body and you are saving thousands of animals!. (In a lifetime, the average meat eater will consumer 36 pigs, 36 sheep and 750 chickens and turkeys!.) Yikes!

To make up for the protein, make sure to get some good legumes!. (black beans, pinto beans) This is where Hispanic dishes come in!. also, pecans peanuts etc!. are good for protein as well!. Add some stuff to your pizza, such as spinach, mushrooms, olives!. Expand your horizons!. When you get Chinese food, get some vegetable lo mein!. Not every food has to be the same minus the meat!. Experiment and find new foods!.

Wat kind of vegetarian are you!? can u eat fish!? can u eat animal products!?
