Restaurants to go to if you want to avoid dairy?!
Are there any restaurants you can recommend for people who are lactose intolerant!?
When I go out to eat, I make sure that I do not order anything that lists any type of dairy on the menu !. I also almake sure to tell the servers that I am lactose intolerant and that I cannot eat anything made with milk, butter, cream, etc!. I also make sure to ask them not to cook with butter!. I also ask if they use any preservatvies that contain dairy because some preservatives do!. Still, about 90% of the time I eat at restaurants, I get "dairy sick"!. I can tell when I have consumed lactose after the fact, but by then it is too late!.
Are there any restuarants that I can eat at without worrying!? I am not looking for strictly vegan restaurants, but popular places that may have vegan options!.Or any places that know a lot about their foods and use all natural/organic ingredients!?
i have a very low tolerance and lactaid pills do NOT work unfortunatelyWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'm also very lactose intolerant as well as a recently turned vegan for other reasons!.
I find eating out surprisingly easier than I had thought, but I think it needs a little preparation, such as looking at the menu beforehand if possible, or simply asking the waiter/waitress for options!. I always ask them if there's something dairy in my food/drink, then ask them to leave it out!.
Personally I like Thai or ethnic restaurants that offer vegan options!. I love P!.F!. Chang's vegetarian options - most of them are vegan!. I also like Panera bread - I get the Mediterranean veggie sandwich without feta cheese!.
