Question: Does Bath and Body Works test on animals!?
I was looking closely at the products and they say "This final product is not tested on animals" Does that then mean anything before that was tested on animals!.!.!.I just want to be sure!. I do not want to support a company that does that!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It just means that the product itself was not tested on animals, but the ingredients may have been!. And to make things even stickier, BBW may not have commissioned the tests on the ingredients themselves but are using ingredients that someone else proved safe through testing; I don't know!.

And BBW DOES use animal ingredients--they have or had a line with silk protein, and some of their lotions contain milk ingredients!. Their lip balms have beeswax!.

Lush has a very strict policy against animal testing and will not even use ingredients that have been tested on animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mom worked at Bath & Body Works for about 3 years, and since I am a vegetarian I made her look into the whole animal testing thing!. Turns out that not only does Bath & Body Works not test on animals, they also don't use any animal products in their items!. The label you read does not mean that anything before that was tested on animals!. The only reason they have that is because they sell their stuff in both the UK and U!.S!., and that label was necessary in order to be sold in the UK!. Anyways Bath & Body Works refuses to participate in cruel and unnecessary animal tests!. They are 100% vegan and their products are amazing, might I add :DWww@FoodAQ@Com
