Veganism doesn't guarantee weight loss!. Yes, it makes it easier, but there are plenty of junk foods that are vegetarian and vegan!. I'm going to assume that you're skipping the junk in favor of more healthful fruits, veggies, and whole grains!. Filling up on foods filled with fiber and water (fruits and veggies) make you feel full longer and help you fight hunger!.
As far as how long it takes to lose weight--that's going to be different for each body!. If it was just the lack of meat I'd be skinny--but I don't always make the best choices, so I'm not even though I've been a vegetarian for 7 years!.
In any case, good luck to you!Www@FoodAQ@Com

For the 1,000,000th time: VEGANISM IS NOT A WEIGHT LOSS PLAN
Losing weight comes down to one thing: burn more calories than you consume!. If you don't do that, you can be vegan forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and never lose an ounce!. If you are overweight and you exercise regularly, you need to get a solid idea of how many calories you currently eat in a day and then start eating fewer!. You can eat fewer as a vegan, if you wish, you can eat fewer as a vegetarian, if you wish, and you can even eat fewer calories as a meat eater if that's your thing!. But if you think you're going to go vegan and then just wait for the pounds to fall off, you're kidding yourself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It isn't a weight loss regime!. There are vegans of all shapes and sizes, from very thin to very fat, just as there are vegetarians and meateaters of all shapes and sizes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
