Low fat filling vegan food Ideas? So I can be a less fat vegan?!
I have given up meat 7 years ago, went vegan a year ago!. I am pretty good at making vegan food, I make awsome pancakes, pastas, tofu burgers!. The problem is I eat a lot of those!. I love to eat so just eating a little bit of something is not going to work for me!.
I love veggies and fruits too but i dont want a small cup of fruit I eat a whole cantalope, or a whole mango and half a papaya!.
So I am looking for some recipes they dont have to be fancy recipes they can just be Ideas, or quck things you eat that dont call for sugar or lots of oil and are healthy so I can eat and be full and not have to buy bigger pants!. Preferably something I can make and freeze or fridge so I dont have to cook everyday!. I like to cook but its a drag when you want something now!. I make most everything from scratch and dont eat much packaged foods, just things I cant make!.

Couscous or quiona with beans (such as black or kidney)!. You can bake some tempeh and stir fry it with vegetables!. Make a lettuce wrap, or a salad!.

My suggestion - may sound strange, but it will indeed work and help to speed up what very well might be a slow metabolism - eat more meals a day, but make them smaller meals!.
Example!. Say a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, orange juice - maybe some soy milk for the oatmeal!. Lunch would be something like a baked potato topped with broccoli, maybe a bowl of soup, some sort of small dessert!. Afternoon snack - another small serving of fruit/grain!. Evening meal - by now, your going to find that you not feeling as hungry as you normally do at this time of evening - so eating what you normally would eat, just in much smaller portions is not going to be a problem!. Just eat a well balanced meal as you already should be eating!. Evening snack - an apple or other fruit, maybe a handfull of nuts as well!.
When your body figures out that it isn't going thru a 'feast and famine' type of eating process and that it is going to have more than enough to eat - you will find that you lose weight!.
Another little thing to do - use smaller plates!. Sounds kind of crazy - but if you have a plate that has stuff falling off the sides, mentally it helps with the mindset that your getting more than enough!. Mind game!? Maybe!. But it is a mind game that has been proven to help!.
also learn to quit eating while doing other things!. Take TIME to enjoy what your eating!. Sit down to eat!. Take the time to chew each and every mouthful of food that goes in your mouth!.
You gain weight by taking in more calories that you use!. So another suggestion - get some moderate exercise!. Be it just a walk around where you live to working out in a gym - start doing physical activity!. It also releases important chemicals within you!. You will find that your mood improves as well as your outlook (tip that I got years ago)!.
There is no 'miracle food' out there that is going to be the magic bullet to help you cut off unwanted weight!. Being wise to the approach that you take plus physical activity is the best way to be the size that you need to be (I don't worry about weight, more concerned about unhealthy size)!.
Muscle weighs more than fat and is more condensed - meaning a person that is say 130 but who has more muscle than fat is going to be in better health and also more than likely thinner than someone even that is 120!.
Set a vision of how and what you want to look like - that is a resonable outlook for you to have - then go towards that goal!.
I mention this only because some may really not be doing this that read this - but make sure that you take in enough water each and every day!. More people are dehydrated and don't even know it!. They only find out when it gets serious and they pass out!. Water helps to clear the body of toxins and wastes within the body!.
