Question: I am a vegan so i can't eat fish!.!.!.where do i get my phosphate!?
my mom said that if you don't eat fish than you don't get phosphate what the hell is phosphate anyways and do i really need it in my body she says something about how it's good for your brain! but i don't know!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Phosphates are found in saltwater!. Plants need phosphates, humans do not!. I think your Mom is thinking of Omega 3 which is found in fish and is good for the brain (and the heart)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Potatoes, Lima beans, green peas and artichoke are a great source!. Though, I think it's phosphorus!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
