In response to David's comment!.!.!.!.
1) That is simply not true!. You do not have to eat a TON of anything to get protein!. You just need to eat a variety of things like spinach, peanut butter, nuts, leafy green vegetables, tofu, beans, broccolli!.!.!.etc!. Practically everything has protein in it!.
2) I don't have to take iron supplements, and there are tons of vegetables that contain iron!. Besides, vegetables are better sources of iron on a per calorie basis, which means you could get iron from meat, but you'd also be getting a lot more calories than you would from veggies!.
3) Harder to eat out!. Not true at all!.!.!.!.unless you go to a resturant where they only serve dishes with meat!. Besides, you shouldn't eat meat so often anyways!. It's not good for you!.
4) Same as the last one!. I have never been to a party where they only serve meat!. Are you kidding!? You act like it's IMPOSSIBLE to eat anything when you don't eat meat! Why would you even want to eat meat all the time!?
5) Then your friends aren't really friends and your family is narrow minded and unsupportive!. And not everybody is like that!. Just because you don't respect vegetarians dosen't mean all meat-eaters don't!.
So I pretty much proved all of your points as false!.
ROBERT: Oh, no! Please do go into detail!. I want to see all off these extensive problems that vegetarians encounter!.
And do tell, what medical problems occur when people eliminate red meat from their diet!? Are you aware that women who eat red meat have an significantly increased chance of developing breast cancer!?

Yes!. There are a wide range of them!. I won’t go into the details but the health problems created by a vegetarian diet are similar to those encountered by anyone who eliminates any food group or type from their diet!. This includes no-carb diets, low-fat diets, no red meats, the alkaline diet, macrobiotic diet, high protein diet, etc!. Unless you are allergic to foods or have some other condition that prevents you from eating certain foods or substances (diabetes, high blood pressure, Celiac disease, etc!.), then you shouldn’t eliminate things from your diet!. The human body needs balance and you don’t get that balance by arbitrarily eliminating carbs or fats or salt or anything else from your diet without the health and medical reasons I specified above!.
In the big picture, there are no good foods and no bad foods-the key is moderation, self-control, and an active lifestyle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. Nobody "needs" meat to be healthy, therefore I wouldn't see any reason why somebody would be physically inable to go without meat!.
And if I had a penny for every time I heard "lack of protein" I would be sitting on my own private yacht about now!. The protein in meat isn't worth all of the other stuff in it like the horomones, preservatives, and chemcials!. You can get protein easily from a vegetarian or vegan diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You have to be more careful about monitoring your nutritional intake!. Meat makes it easy to get a lot of things your body needs: amino acids, proteins, iron etc!. If you don't eat meat, you need to find a way to get those nutrients!.
A lot of vegetarians, especially new ones, don't pay careful attention and end up with deficiencies!. You have to be vigilant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I became a Vegan for about 10 months!. My cholesterol levels decreased slightly, but my triglyceride levels shot up by a factor of three!. Apparently this happens to some people, and it's a matter of details in how their metabolism works!. After my routine yearly physical, with blood tests and liver function tests, my doctor told me I'd better stop the Vegan diet, and I went back to a meat-and-vegatables diet!. My triglyceride levels subsequently returned to normal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
First, make sure your not anemic!. You need to make sure youre getting enough protein and iron fortified foods!. Women have a monthly menstrual cycle and if they don't get enough iron and protein they will become anemic!. Beans, molasses, spinach, tofu, TVP, and whole grain cereals are imortant in a veg diet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you are allergic to the other protein alternatives: like beans, nuts, & are lacktose intollarent; i guess that would be a health issue!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
There is absolutley ZERO cons to going vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

5) Maybe be hard to go to party's and other events!. Some times vegetarian options are not really that available!.
4) Family and friends may dismiss you as a moon bat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
