Does anyone know if all almonds are irradiated these days?!

Question: Does anyone know if all almonds are irradiated these days!?
They began doing it to California almonds because of a supposed salmonella scare (which I don't believe existed in the first place ,like this one with the tomatoes and now jalapenos)!.

I think the government wants to prevent us from eating fresh fruits, veggies, and nuts because if people did it every day instead of meat and other animal products, there wouldn't be the cancer and heart disease rates and then they couldn't make all their money with various drugs!. So does anyone know of truly raw almonds!? Do they grow in other states besides CA (where they've started giving them radiation to render them cooked)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The almonds you will buy in Whole Foods this fall may still say "raw almonds" but they will have been subjected to high heat and a five log kill step!.!.!. that they are calling "Pasteruization"!. This lie is being permitted by the marketing order!!

Will we be forced to import almonds in order to get them raw and unadulterated!?
If the almonds are SOLD in the us, they will require sterilization!.

We had a holiday in Spain last year!. There was an almond tree in the back garden, with plenty for us to gather!. Are you living in an place with the right weather to grow your own almond tree!? That's the surest way you'll know what's in what you are eating!. Or make friends with someone who can grow them!. And give them to you, not sell them!. The regulations apply to selling!.

The next best alternative would be to buy almonds sourced outside USA!.

Contact them, ask where they source their almonds!. It doesn't say on the website!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

CA almonds are not irradiated!. Most almonds sold for export (per the mandates of the EU) are steam pasteurized for salmonella and aflatoxin!.

Essentially, no other states grow almonds except CA!.

Here is the representative group for CA almond production!. Much useful information!.

EDIT: Don't get so upset!. Almonds labeled "natural" or "raw" are just that!. The pasteurization does nothing to the nut (and as you can read on the website, not changing the sensory qualities of the nut is one of the mandates of the program)!. Eating raw (which really just means not roasted) almonds is very, very good for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
