Are they hurt any kind of way!?!?!

Question: Are they hurt any kind of way!!?!!?
Okay, my mom took me grocery shopping and I got aot of things (i'm veg@n) but I also got graham crackers!. I didn't read the label good but when I got home I saw they had honey in them, I told my mom and she got mad and told I WAS GOING TO EAT THEM!! At first I said no but I have to listen to my mom right!? I ate some a few minutes ago and began to think, are bees hurt in anyway when honey is taken from them, I mean I know it's wrong to take it from them but they don't like die when honey is taken from them right!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well most vegans dont eat honey because when they go to get it from them they smoke the bees out which results in a lot of them dying or being seriously harmed!.!.!.but if your choise was to eat them or starve i probably would have eaten them too!.!.!.lol! Anyways dont let it get you too upset just finish them off (or if you have a dog feed them to it!.!.!.lol!) and read labels!.!.!.honey is in a lot of things so ya!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It would be questionable to consider honey an animal byproduct!. They do MAKE it, but not in the same way cows make milk, or chickens make eggs!. They have a separate stomach (sort of) that they use to make honey, and then they essentially vomit it back up and fill in the honeycomb!. Sometimes this is for the purpose of feeding larvae, but most combs won't have larvae in them when they are harvested!.
The only thing that is done to the bees in the comb-harvesting process is that they are smoked out of the hive temporarily!. This just agitates them so they go out, but once the combs are emptied they just go right back in again and start over!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The bees are never hurt in the process and it is not wrong to take their honey!. They can make more!. Is it wrong to take milk from cows!? Oh, wait, vegans say 'yes,' don't they!? Okay, bad example!. Anyway, farmers just put them to sleep using smoke and take the honey--not even all of the honey, just some!. They don't die, they don't even feel anything!. They're just kind of like drunk for a couple of hours!. It's no big deal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some die, but it goes with the territory!. It's odd when vegers lament the accidental deaths of some bees while harvesting honey yet animal deaths during harvest of produce is "unavoidable"!.

Vegans don't consume honey!. Your Mom cannot force you to eat anything you don't want to!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Honey is on the list of what not to eat if you are a vegan so I don't eat it!. They make graham crackers without honey!. You have to eat the graham crackers!? Were they expensive!? Don't eat them!. Is your mom going to jam them down your throat!? Be a true vegan and don't eat honey!. There is enough food to eat without needing food that comes from animals!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think Troll's a no life loser got it right!. Some bees do die (and you should know that in places with cold winters, some beekeepers get a fresh stock of bees every spring)!. However, it's no worse than the deaths of insects during vegetable farming!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The bee keeper makes money from selling the honey he's bees make, so why would he want to hurt or kill them!? Don't believe the people that say the bees get hurt and killed!. My uncle is a bee keeper and he treats his bees like familyWww@FoodAQ@Com

Some bees die in the process!. But a very few!. And yes you do have to answer to your mother!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No, cause if they died then they couldnt make and more honey which means no money for the bee-keeper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. As long as it is at one of those Bee Farms where the bees are free, they are not hurt at all!. Don't worry!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
