About one third of Lauren's answers are wrong!. Oyster sauce may or may not have oysters in it!. Fries do not automatically have beef in them, Store bought Tortillas do not typcally have animal fat in them!. Sandwich bread actually rarely has egg in it!. FISH!. eat fish!? no!? well it's in everything!. half the time you see MSG in the ingredients then the product, from crisps to soup to any flavoured powder mix USUALLY contains fish salt!. why!? because it's amazingly tasty and can turn the blandest dish into a really really interesting one!. but it's definitely squeezed from fish or something so, get used to eating fish or give up basically any pre-packaged food!. i'm talking microwave stuff, savoury snackfood, any mass-produced flavour!. i swear i can taste it in my KFC, that's okay, i'm not vege any longer but you don't see it on the menu do you!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

the sickest one I have run across
red coloring used in MANY drinks and candies, is used by squished insects!. Might be vegitarian, i guess it depends on your view on bugs, but it woudn't be vegan for sure
anything with the named:
Cochineal, Carmine, or Red #4, but supposedly it can be also in "color added" and not even name it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

some frozen food - like french fries - have "Tallow" from beef bones, and some canned soups that say thing like vegetable soup, make sure you read label - they sometimes use chicken broth, or beef broth - example Cambels soup "Golden Mushroom" uses beef broth!. jsut make sure you stay vigilant and read labels or make it yourself-best way to avoid stuff you do not want!. :)

p!.s!. - MSG - monosodiungultamate - is a chemical - sodium basedWww@FoodAQ@Com
