Did anyone ever think that only veganism saves?!

Question: Did anyone ever think that only veganism saves!?
I've read someone saying vegetarianism saves the environment!. I doubt!. half of the fresh water is spent for animals and they use it to clean their farms too!. meat and dairy production is one of the largest polluter in the world!. all the food that is made to feed the animals, could already feed the starving children around the world!. so they still need to make extra food on fields and they are still vulnerable to abuse!. vegetarianism wont save chicks from tiny cages!.

I like the idea that starving children are saved with veganism!. all the corn that you see on the fields, will probably end as a food for animals!. what do you think!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I agree!. Some people make so many excuses to dispute your opinion!. Excuses don't save lives-action saves lives!. AND free range my foot!. It's no better!.!.!.ask the veal calves and boy chicks!. There's no way around it!. There are no chicken/cow retirement homes!. There are only slaughter houses full of torture, blood and screaming!.!.!.literally!. Consuming milk and eggs is just as bad as eating meat!.!.!.maybe even worse!. The animals are tortured even longer and still slaughtered when they are used for milk and eggs!.

Vegetarians are better than meat eaters, but could seriously do more!. I hear the same excuses like the "free range" thing!. Others say it would be too hard!. That's just selfish:)

Thumbs up, thumbs down!.!.!.I really don't care!. This is my opinion and most vegans share it!. It's just the difference between vegetarians and vegans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Veganism is good for the enviornment and it helps feed the Third World!. That I definitely agree with!

However, I really don't want to start a fight with the vegetarians!. I've seen this kind of question before!. I'm not accusing you of doing this, but don't disrespect vegetarianism because it isn't as "helpful" as veganism!. Don't try to measure other people by their contribution to the well being of the planet!. Just respect that they made a decision to help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Switching to a vegan diet is better on the environment then switching from a regular car to a hybrid!. also, supply and demand baby!

Fewer animals are killed each year due to each and every vegan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm vegetarian and I think your right!.
Which is why in a couple years I plan to go Vegan!.
When I have more freedom from my parents!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You are seriosly misinformed!. Perhaps you read too much pro vegan articles and "news" that your views on the world are narrow at best!. Certainly it gave you an undeserved feeling of dillusional importance and superiority

Grain used for animal feed is not suitable for human consumption!. These are the stronger/sturdier varieties of common grains that survive in less than ideal conditions!. For example, in our farm, corn used for human consumption is planted in more ideal soil!. Corn used for animal feed and to a lesser extent for use in bio-fuels is planted on margiunal soil!. Use your head: Food for human consumpotion sells more so a farmer obssesed with prpfitr would do benefit more if he plants and sells human grade instead of animal grade grains!. Another info: most of the livestock in the rest of the world do not feed on grain!.
There is enough food to feed everyone in the whole world!. The problem is distirbution not availability!. The US alone throws away 110 million tons of food annually!. That is prefectly edible food, meat AND vegetables, discarded!. That is enough to feed all of West Africa!.

Vegans don't save any animal whatsoever outside of what they physically save themselves!. Given that the number of vegans in the US is only 1% of the 2-5% that make up the total vegtarian population, your do not make any impact on the animal food industry!.

Actually I think vegans like you are the cause why the animal rights issue has been sidelined as a lunatic fringe issue rather than mainstream topic of legitimate concern!. In that respect, turning people off to the whole animal rights debate does not save any and perhaps contribute indirectly to aniumal cruelty by turning people into anti animal rights passive activists rather than proponents!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
