Ooooh! I love it!. My family's favorite way to have it is Quinoa and black beans in corn tortillas with nopalitos con papas on the side ( I'm including the recipes, lol)!. It's definitely not boring in this recipe:

I leave out the corn because my husband has texture issues and I use waaaay less cilantro because it's strong stuff and can over-power other flavors if you use too much

If the thought of cactus creeps you out, green beans would work as well!.
Good luck! It's one of the healthiest grains we've got :)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I've used it as a salad ingredient, re:pasta type salad!.!.you can add whatever pleases your palate as you would in a pasta type salad!.!.!.from veggies (tomatoes, onion, celery, peas, peppers, black or green olives, etc) to shrimp & tuna!.!.condiments can be mayo, olive oil & vinegar or any other dressings that you choose!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah,it's so bland,isn't it!?
I had the same problem, but wanted to eat it as it's really healthy!. When cooked I add a good quality tomato sauce, like Seeds Of Change!. It comes in different flavours!. Or Lloyd Grossman's !. Anything, really,as long as it has some taste!

And perhaps olives on top/or/and soya parmisan!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use stock rather than water to cook it, then use it in a salad!. Just add your favourite veggies, and some dressing!. You could also add some smoked fish, or grilled chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Add it to anything tasty - it will be enhanced by the flavours!. Most ethnic dishes work fine with quinoa!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
