Answers:
veganism is a lot stricter than vegetarianism
vegans do not eat any thing that came from an animal or required an animal to be harmed in order to make!. vegans don't eat animals and they don't wear them either!. they are 100% cruelty free!.
vegetarianism is a lot more flexible!. there are a lot of different brancehes of vegetarianism
one of the more common ones being a lacto-ovo vegetarian who although does not eat animals , still consumes dairy and egg products!.
some vegetarians may consume fish or seafood, there is a name for it but i forget!.
vegetarians are not 100%cruelty free compared to vegans but they are pretty close!.
another thing to keep in mind is
all vegan food is vegetarian but all vegetarian food is not veganWww@FoodAQ@Com

Vegetarianism is often just a diet that excludes all flesh(beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, clams) and slaughter by-products(gelatin, glycerin, rennet)!.
Vegan people exclude all flesh as well as animal products, such as dairy, eggs, and honey!.
Veganism is not a diet, it is a lifestyle and philosophy which would also disagree with buying wool, silk or leather; attending circuses or rodeos, buying animals from a breeder, dealer or pet store(adopting homeless animals is acceptable)!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
