So i have a date tonight?!

Question: So i have a date tonight!?
We were supposed to go out yesterday but he didn't come by and he didn't call like he was supposed to!. So I'm already a little peeved!. I don't really wanna go because he was such a jerk but my best friend says i should give him another chance!. I would be far more willing if we were just going out for pizza or something but he's like "hey we should go get sushi" I've never eaten sushi before so i googled it and yeah its hard for me, a vegetarian, to get around the whole meat thing!. He had already suggested thai food but when i told him I'd never tried he suggested sushi and I told him I'd never tried it either so he just went whatever sushi will be great!. I hadn't known yet that fish was pretty much required!. What can i say to him!? My friend thinks i should be nice, but I just wanna tell him I'm sick and can't go!. ideas!? suggestions!? whatever you got!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Inari is a sweet soybean cake around rice!. Delicious and veggie!. I get miso soup, a salad, avocado roll (with soypaper - I hate seaweed because it tastes "fishy" to me) or cucumber roll!.

Thai food is great for vegetarians!. No one does tofu better than Thai!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can order vegetarian sushi!. Its great!. I Love it!. It has the Sushi "look", as is covered in seaweed, but inside is avocado, rice and other veggies!. Its so yummy!

But, since he didnt show for the first date I wouldnt give him a second chance! Ya snooze you lose!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if you really like him and you know he likes you,you should beable to tell him the truth and if he freaks out and dumps you!.!.!.be glad!.your probly too good for him anyway if he does that!.

You can eat avocado rolls and tempura at a Japanese restaurant!.

Thai restaurant are usually great places to find vegetarian food, just make sure they know not to put fish sauce in the "vegetarian" dishes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sushi is a great vegetarian option- just order the avocado rolls, cucumber rolls, and you will be OK!.!. but if he is a jerk, why bother!? go on your own!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can ask the people at the restaurant for vegetarian sushiWww@FoodAQ@Com

tell him that you're a vegetarian and would rather go somewhere else to eat!. be honest and he should respect you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yea avacado rolls and miso soupWww@FoodAQ@Com

Tell him you'll meet him at the restaurant!.!.!.!.!.and don't show up!. See how he likes them apples!Www@FoodAQ@Com

He stood you up!. I wouldn't give him a second chance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Depends on the restaurant!. There are veggie rolls with yellow radish or avocado!. I personally don't care for them because I'm not big on the vinegar they use but other people love vinegar and maybe you are one!. Wouldn't hurt to try it!.

However, there should be tempura which is lightly battered and fried veggies which can be absolutely fabulous so I think you should be okay!.

also, Thai food can be wonderful and they are usually quite nice about making the food vegetarian but you do need to specify so they leave out the fish sauce which is a standard Thai seasoning!.

It's good to try new things!. You don't know what you've been missing until you do!. That's how I felt about Thai food when I first tried it!. There's also a bunch of different dishes and each restaurant is different too so just because one place doesn't catch you another might be just what you've been looking for all your life (even if you didn't know it)!.

So, my advice is go and have fun and if the food doesn't work out, eat some when you get home or carry a Lara Bar with you or something!. It's just one meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, the word sushi means (it's sour) so really, just tell him, and tell your server what selections they have without meat, shouldn't be that difficult really, just don't order the first thing you see, lol, that might not turn out so good!.
also, it could be he is taking you out for sushi because he thinks it is what you want, if it was me going, I would just tell him I'd rather something more casual like going for a pizza, just might turn out that he might want the same thing!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
