Question: What are the non-vegan ingredients in gummy bears and marshmallows!?
I am trying to go vegan, but until today I did not know gummy bears and marshmallows had animal products in them!. What are the ingredients exactly!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gelatin (boiled hooves, skin, bones, tendons of cows, pigs and occasionally horses!. Mainly cows and pigs though)!.
I haven't found vegan marshmallows yet, but i'm sure someone has!. There are a lot of vegan lollies though!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

As somebody else already said, the ingredient is gelatin!. You will need to get in the habit of reading ingredients lists if you go vegan!. Gelatin is in a lot of other things too, like certain chewy candy and Jello!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
