Question: Does anyone know of a device to open young coconuts (white ones) besides a cleaver or knife!?
I only have dinky knives because those huge ones give me the willies!. Does anyone know of a safe instrument to open a young coconut's husk!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

A flat head screw driver and a hammer works great!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Coal chisel and hammer works with me!.

Or if I not got that I wrap it in a clean tea towel and smack it against the edge/corner of the wall which works well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Smash it against the concrete!. Always works, but you will lose the coconut water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
