If you still eat eggs, they are probably the best source of complete protein that is readily available!. Otherwise, try protein from hemp nuts and use it in a smoothie or vitamin shake!. Hemp protein, like the protein found in eggs, is complete!. I use the hemp milk and it's really good (no, it doesn't give you a buzz and it won't make you fail a drug test)!.

There's veggie meatballs, veggie chicken nuggets, veggie burgers, veggie hotdogs, veggie fish, tempe (good when you deep or pan fy)!. These stuffs have good protein!. I take eggs if I were you, but of course in moderation!. also, drink up some soy milk!.

I recommend everyone read Eat to Live (Dr!. Furhman) and/or the China Study (T!. Colin Campbell), they are incredibly revealing and show just how mislead we as a culture are on proper nutrition!. As mentioned above we need much less protein than we are lead to believe, and in fact excess animal protein (milk and eggs in this case) are incredibly detrimental to your health!.
As long as you are eating a diverse and healthy diet you will never be wanting for protein!.
For example, although we don't think of it as a good source of protein romaine lettuce has a high percentage of protein, as do broccoli and whole grains!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I heart pancakes deserves the best vote!. It's a myth that Americans need as much protein as we're told!. The WHO recommends half of what we are told we need, and other first world nations do fine with it!. Trust the World Health Organization more than you do the RDA and the meat lobbyists in Washington DC, such as ConAgra!. Their money, not your health, is their primary concern!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you are eating dairy, cottage cheese has a surprising amount of protein!. I have been a vegetarian for 10 years and I recently started logging my meals on mydailyplate!.com to see if I was getting enough protein and I was not - I was eating too much cheese which is a common problem for veggies/not vegans!. Go to the site and check out the vegetarian and vegetarian recipe groups - lots of great suggestions on books for people who are transitioning to being a vegetarian or vegan and tons of recipes people are sharing!. also when you log in your food daily, you will see a pie chart of the percentage of proteins you are eating which might help you to decide what proteins you need to add for the day!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
One does NOT get good quality Protein, having desirable PER value, from Vegetables/Herbs---Either One has to take Milk caesin(Lacto Vegetarian) or Egg Albumin(Ovo Vegetarian)!.Harper's "Essential Amino Acid" imbalance will also be there,if One takes vegetables alone without Milk or Egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
