Vegetarians or others, please help?!
I recently bought shoes from Goodwill!. They're Invisible Nikes with vinyl looking accents!. The accents are leather (as I've just found out) I am a strict vegetarian and I'm freaking out as to whether or not to continue wearing them!. Please give opinions!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Unless you plan on eating the shoes your vegetarianism will be quite safe and in check ;-)!.
But if you also practice vegan values I wouldn't be too worried, you aren't supporting the leather industry as you bought them from Goodwill, which is great, at the same time you will be, in a way, advertising the leather!.
I dont think it's a big deal personally, it doesn't even sound like a lot of leather, and like I said and as many have before, the leather industry doesn't prosper from your purchase a wonderful, charitable place does!.
Still, I personally can't wear leather jackets, shirts pants, purses, or all leather shoes because the smell and idea makes me ill!. At the same time I buy a lot of my clothes second hand and none have leather and the shoes I buy from other stores are generally the shiniest, plastic-iest, tallest, high heel I can find, because they make me happy :)!. Dispite all that, I'm sure I still have a little leather I'm not aware of, and I say if it makes you uncomfortable, dont wear them, but if you like them, it's not a big deal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yeah if you're gonna get rid of them, donate them back to goodwill or somewhere!. so at least they'll get recycled again and the leather (and the animal) won't go to waste!. But i'm with everyone else, they're second hand, you're not supporting the leather industry you're supporting goodwill!.!. but it's really about how you feel!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It is really a moral thing!. others can't really tell you how to feel!.
I would think that it isn't your fault!.!.!.the shoes are already made, adn you didnt buy them from a store!.!.!.they are second hand!. And if you liek the shoes then continue to wear them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need to decide how you feel!. However, you are buying them second hand!. By doing so, you are recycling! also, if you throw them away, that animal's life goes in vain!. I suggest either wearing them or giving to someone who will!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
They're secondhand, it makes no difference what they're made of!.
It's up to you, you definitely at any sort of fault!.
The only problem is that you're advertising for Nike!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go to Pay Less and get yourself some fake leather shoes!. I would not want shoes form Goodwill!. It should be illegal to sell second hand shoes!. Clothing can be washed, but there is no way to make second hand shoes clean again!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you got them from Goodwill, you aren't supporting the leather industry, whoever originally bought them did!. Your money stays with Goodwill!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
although they are second-hand,which makes it not your fault!.
if you feel really guilty or wrong wearing or owning them than dont out yourself through wearing them & get a new pair of shoes :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
