congratulations to you! it will be one of the best decisions you ever made! who in their right mind would want to live their life in ignorance, contributing to animal suffering!? there are many things you can eat for protein that are healthier than eating hormone pumped meat from an animal who suffered greatly (the energy is just so bad)!. can find anything in google!. recipes, protein foods, cheap vegetarian stuffs!. animal friendly products, like beauty products that didn't test on animals (another true horror) are definitely generally more expensive but also worth it!. go to PETA's website, they have lists!. i say do the best you can- any effort is better than nothing!. i had no money for a while so did buy products that tested on animals here and there but now things are a little better so i'm much more vigilant!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Giving up meet cold turkey may be hard (hardy har har)!. You may want to try easing out of eating meat more slowly!. Like for example, give up one meat first and seeing if you can without eating it for a week or two!. During that period, try to find a replacement like soy burgers or Quorn!. If that works, continue the process, slowly adding more alternatives as you go!. If your parents complain that meat alternatives are expensive, tell them that at this point meat is just as, if not more expensive!.

There are many delicious recipes out there that don't require meat to be delectable!. The Vegetarian Cookbook has many great ideas for entire meals and desserts!.
Some good brands for vegetarian foods:
Annie's (different from the pasta company but the pasta company's good too)
Morningstar
Boca

Yeah, stop eating meat!. I think sticking to it depends on your reasons for being a vegetarian-- if you're doing it because you truly think it's wrong to eat animals, then you really shouldn't have trouble staying on track, because eating meat would feel like a crime against your principles!.

If you're going to cut meat out of your diet completely at age 14, you really need to talk to a nutritionist before you get started!. Being a vegetarian is awesome and can be really good for your health, but only if you control your diet carefully to make sure you're getting enough iron, B-vitamins, and other nutrients most people get from meat!.

Since you still live with your parents, you should talk to them about the changes you want to make, and why you want to make them!. Maybe they'll help you out by making some dinners vegetarian, but you'll probably need to learn how to prepare your own food so you don't end up eating a bunch of frozen pizza and veggie burgers for every meal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

if your trying to be a vegetarian don't eat meat, but also if you have a pepperoni pizza and pick the pepperoni, that doesn't count!.
I know that its your choice totally, but its really unhealthy I know a few of my friends that went vegetarian and they were always really sick, not even the right vitamins can help, you need meat!.
also, it can get really expensive, especially for a fourteen year old!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You can still have pasta and sauce just not the meat!. There are lots of vegetarian friendly options at the supermarket, like MorningStar and Boca brands!. Naturally get all the fruits, veggies and salads you can!. Stock up on popcorn!. You can still drink milk, eat cheese and eggs if you want to be Lacto-Ovo vegetarian!. If you won't give up or parents giving you a hard time about any meats, maybe fish will satisfy them!. That would make you a Pesco vegetarian!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I know I usually failed at barbeques and stuff!. So I began eating this brand called Morningstar, which is burgers, hot dogs, but it's all meatless!. Not that expensive eater, and it tastes pretty good!.

It's hard to just do something all at once!. So try to cut out the bad meat first!. So only eat chicken!. Then ask your mom to make more vegtables, potatoes, pasta etc, and then eventually, just ask for without the meat!.

And then eventually, you might even consider going vegan, which is really hard!. But hey, just take baby steps!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Don't be a vegetarian, I know you love animals, but if those animals were hungry and they could eat YOU, um!.!.!. guess what!? THEY WOULD EAT YOU TOO! Besides, going vegetarian is unhealthy, its not bad to EAT animals, but its bad to kill or torture animals for money!. You are ruining your own health, without fish, you wont get much proteins, and without chicken, you wont get anything!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Start researching and get support go to your local library and remember being vegetarian is actually cheaper than being a meat eater!.You need to find and befirend fellow vegetarians as well as vegans who can personally help you out!.Think seriously about WHY you wish to become vegetarian and stay focused on that no matter what people say about you remember its a healthier life style as long as you dont consume pure junk food that has artificial ingredients and preservatives in it and think coming from nature and in season you should be just fine its not hard at all just take your timeWww@FoodAQ@Com

Be sure to get enough protien!.
