Why don't PETA members protest Lions eating Gazelles?!

Mainly because Ingrid Newkirk hasn't ordered them to so they don't!. Yet!. But once she gets around to it, they might!. But as one poster mentioned, lions might fight back so they may not after all!.

Probably because lions are not sentient beings in the way that humans are!. Humans have a choice not to eat meat (or to eat humanely raised meat), but if lions didn't eat meat they would die!. Lions also don't realize that this is mistreatment of gazelles!.
Peta members just want people to be kind to animals!. They're not all crazy militants!. I'm not in peta, but i don't think factory farming animals is right either, I choose to eat meat with no growth hormones, no antibiotics, and that are treated humanely!. The dairy/meat industries have advertised their way to tricking people to think that meat is a necessary part of a human diet, and that it's healthy for you!. When really vegetables and fruits are far more healthy!. also production of fruit/vegetable is also cheaper and better for the environment!.

I'm a vegetarian!. Although its in our nature to eat meat, hence the fact that we have teeth, it's not done properly!. When the native americans ate meat, they respected and worshiped the animals and never let any part of the animals body go to waste!. But when you eat the processed meat from the grocery store, On today's factory farms, animals are crammed by the thousands into filthy windowless sheds, wire cages, gestation crates, and other confinement systems!. have no legal protection from cruelty that would be illegal if it were inflicted on dogs or cats: neglect, mutilation, genetic manipulation, and drug regimens that cause chronic pain and crippling, transport through all weather extremes, and gruesome and violent slaughter!. Yet farmed animals are no less intelligent or capable of feeling pain than are the dogs and cats we cherish as companions!.
Chicken caucuses are left in the same cages as live chickens, the chickens you eat, even after they start to rot and decompose!. Disgusting!.

Because the gazelle is roaming free when it is killed naturally!. It isn't raised in a farm with 20,000 other gazelles within an inch of the other in a cage that is in a factory that is 105 degrees hot and not properly hydrated!. And then the gazelle isn't forced to stand next to a dead gazelle an inch from him because it died of starvation, dehydration, heat exhaustion or a disease caught from another gazelle!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Because there's a HUGE difference between a lioness going out and hunting down a gazelle for the pride's dinner and human beings breeding, mutilating, crowding, feeding unnatural diets, trucking for long distances, and slaughtering by the BILLIONS so people can have cheap burgers and chicken nuggets!.
