www!.vegweb!.com has recipes for casseroles and dinner pies, which would probably feed slightly fewer than 10!. You could double the recipe, ensuring large portions for everyone or leftovers for yourself!.
You could also make a large pot of chili and serve with cornbread, with fries, or make a veggie chili mac!. You could also make a stew and serve with crusty bread!.
Start with a simple salad--romaine lettuce, tomatoes, shredded carrots, etc!.--and a simple vegan dressing!. Or you could make a crudite platter with hummus and/or salsa as dip!.
For dessert, you can make a batch or two of cupcakes from "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World" by Isa Chandra Moskowitz I'd make two different types so your guests have a choice!.
Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'm going to agree with Jen D!. I'd pick a certain type of cuisine and go with that!. It will make things easier on you!. I'm not sure what the occasion is, but
Here's what I'd do:
Italian - Eggplant "parmesan", spinach lasagna (or lasagna rolls!.!.!.those are easy and tasty!), plain spaghetti or angel hair pasta in a tasty marinara sauce, tossed salad, breadsticks or garlic bread (great and filling), maybe a soup (like minestrone) and Italian ice for dessert!.
Asian: Veggie stir fry with the person's choice of what to put it over - Jasmine rice, brown rice or quinoa, veggie (or chick'n) lo mien, egg rolls (they can be from your grocer's freezer!.!.!.I'm sure no one would mind), a veggie "wonton" soup!.
Snacky/Casual: Vegan sloppy joes, chips and salsa, veggie burgers with a lot of interesting toppings (like alfalfa sprouts, guacamole, etc!.), a veggie tray with dip, a fruit tray, pasta salads, etc!.
Just try to choose something that is simple for you as opposed to trying to fix something that will appeal to everyone!. In the end, you're doing the cooking and you'll have to clean up!.
Good luck! I'm not sure I'd know what to prepare if I were in your position either!. lol!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ratatouille with rice or pasta!. This is a really really simple but delicious dish and easy to make for a large number of guests!. Served with basil it is a real winner everytime!. Try this recipe:
Serves: 4 as a starter
Olive oil
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
250g aubergine, cut into 2cm cubes
250g small courgettes, sliced 1cm thick
250g sweet cherry or sungold tomatoes, left whole
250g onions, in fairly thick slices
A few basil leaves, torn
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1!. Place 4 small pans over a medium heat and cover the base of each with a little olive oil!. Add a clove of chopped garlic to each pan, and one of the four vegetables!. The aubergine takes a little longer than the others, so start that first, if you like!.
2!. Cook the courgettes until tender, then turn up the heat a little to brown them lightly!. The aubergine, when finished, should be completely soft and tender, almost creamy!. The tomatoes should be wrinkled and sweet but still just about holding their shape!. And the onions should be soft, sweet and lightly caramelised!.
3!. Season the vegetables towards the end of cooking and remove each pan from the heat when you are happy with it!. When all the vegetables are ready, toss them gently together in a large pan and heat through for a few minutes, then add the torn basil leaves!.
Top tip: Bruschetta (a slab of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and drizzled with olive oil) makes a good accompaniment if you're serving this dish as a starter!.
Hope that helps!Www@FoodAQ@Com
