Can I make carrot juice by blending carrots in our blender/smoothie maker?!
It has a veggie button, and a juice button!.
Could I set it to one of those and blend the carrots into juice!?
Or how about a carrot smoothie!?
Would that taste good!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could, but it will be more like a thick carrot smoothie!. A juicer will work much better if you want actual liquidy juice because it will filter out the pulp!. I'm not sure if a carrot smoothie will taste too good because carrot juice is usually fairly sweet!.!.!. but hey, you could try and let us know =) Www@FoodAQ@Com
I have tried it with a normal blender and found it does NOT work!.
When you use a proper juicer, it literally crunches the carrot up, removes the pulp and leaves you with a glass of pure juice!.
Before I brought a juicer, I tried it in the blender!. What a disaster!. I just ended up with pulverised carrot, with virtually no juice!. I then made a huge mess as I tried to mash and strain every last drop of juice out!. Hardly enough for a mouthful!.
My blender was a cheapo $100 brand!. I expect if you owned a Vitamix high speed blender, you may have better luck!.
Carrot juice is nice!. Carrot and ginger juice (using fresh ginger root) is even nicer!.
I particularly love carrot, orange, lemon, turmeric root & ginger root juice, using all certified organic produce!.
It tastes sensational and is excellent for building up your immune system against winter flu!.
With the carrots you just need to top and tail them (topping is very important) and a quick wash or scrub!. No need to peel!.
Yummy!.

It's possible!. I don't know how powerful it is, though!. I personally wouldn't try it in a blender!. I would only try to juice super-hard things like apples, carrots, and beets in an actual juicer!.
You can try it, but it might not work!. Check the manual for instructions!. I don't think I'd want to have a carrot smoothie, but you never know!. Www@FoodAQ@Com
