Are there any skin conditions you can develop from not eating meat?!

Question: Are there any skin conditions you can develop from not eating meat!?
I have naturally rosy cheeks and my mother is convinced that the redness has increased since I became a vegetarian a month ago!. I see no changes in my skin at all!. I take vitamin supplements and make sure I get at least 25 grams of soy/veggie protein a day to compensate for the meat!. I'm suspicious that she is just trying to trick me into eat meat again, since she has never really supported vegetarianism!.
So, is there even any possibility that not eating meat will alter your skin in any way!? Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
It's probably your mom being nervous about your vegetarianism!. Don't worry about it honey, if you feel healthy, you are healthy!.

However, if you start getting acne, it might be because your body tends to detox a lot after you go veg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not really!. Although Omega 3 reduces facial redness!.
Maybe try a flaxseed supplement!. The results can be amazing!. There was a programme called The Diet Doctors, and on one of the episodes, a lady had a facial redness issue!. After taking an omega 3 supplement for a while, her redness was significantly reduced!.

Omega 3, or Alpha Linolenic Acid, is an essential fatty acid and is really good for your skin!. It's worth a try!. You may have sensitive skin, so I would suggest you see a dermatologist!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I am a vegetarian, and also have somewhat rosy cheeks but the degree of redness has not changed for me since becoming vegetarian!. Although I used to suffer from a skin condition called psoriasis,!.!.!. Keyword, used!. Since cutting meat from my diet it's all gone!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I do not believe so, as long as you are getting enough protein from other sources there is no reason to eat meat if you do not wish to do so!.
