Going vegan gives you an excuse to turn down the greasy pizza, ice cream, and birthday cake!. If you don't make an effort to stick to a healthy diet, however, the weight can come right back on!. The only way it would even start to make you lose weight is because of the lack of fat from meat sources!. Fat can also come from other food sources you are replacing your meat and animal products with!. You may lose some weight, but it is not exactly the most healthy diet you can be on!. A lot of people have had to discontinue their vegan lifestyle because they were lacking the proper amino acids (gotten from complete proteins in animal products)!. I've had friends that went vegan and vegetarian and they lost some weight but there were by no means thin by any stretch of the imagination!.

Vegan means you are only adding to your body nutrients, by eating other foods with bad fats, lots of sugars, questionable additives you are gaining weight cause it's bad for you and your body takes longer to process all that junk!. Vegan you are only getting nutrients so it breaks down faster and you will have more energy and lean muscle mass!! It is a very healthy way of like and if you do go on a diet being vegan the weight will come back as soon as you stop being vegan cause you are putting all those bad things right back in your body!. I am vegan for 5 years now and I stay lean and fit and I'm a hairdresser and all we eat is junk but I can eat anything anywhere and not gain bad weight!! Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com

It can be, but regardless of whether you eat meat or not, you can lose weight if you eat healthy, low calorie food and exercise!. Lean meats like chicken and turkey as well as low fat dairy products such as yogurt and cottage cheese are great!. They contain protein which keeps you filling full longer!. The key is to burn more calories than you consume and if going vegan will help you do that, then go for it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It can lead ot weight loss, yes but that's not what it is about!. I am not a vegan myself but I think, going vegan to lose weight cheapens and trivializes the principles behind it!.

While it's possible to be fat and vegan, it takes a bit more effort!. If you want to lose weight, it's much better to just start exercising more and try to eat a bit less!. Stick to healthy, whole foods and avoid refined carbs and pre-packaged foods!. Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah some people go vegan to live healthier lives but if you eat nothing but vegan pizza and vegan bread you will lose nothing
